Monster set up for under £50.
For £40 I wasn't expecting much in the way of deep bass but how much more wrong could I have been? With the bass up full this downward firing subwoofer gives out exceptional sound far better than the T3100 I have on my other PC. If I can get another set for the £40 I paid for these then I am getting them, They are worth every penny.

Great Value for Money, Quality is decent.
This 2.1 System is great for a bedroom. All I wanted was a set to fit my room, and they do perfectly. They're not "burst your ear drum" loud, but they can go quite loud. The Sub has great bass of which you can adjust, depending on how much your desk shakes! The Bass is great quality up to a certain point. You won't feel it through your chest like at a festival, but the bass does travel through my floorboards, and you can hear it from downstairs, so bear that in mind. The two satellites Are great quality, for their size, they are outstanding. For the Price as well I think you could get a really good product here. I have had my set for around 3 months and they have had no faults! Great product, I really recommend it!

Lack of deep base.
Bought these to replace my failed 2.1 speaker system (only problem with it was the volume control.Read some reviews and they also mentioned the base was lacking, but I bought them anyway - hoping that they would be as good as the previous ones. They are NOT as good and I will keep them, as they do sound quite good. For the price, I thought they would be better sound, I was wrong.

Not as good as the one it was supposed to replace.......
I already had a Creative 2.1 set-up purchased over 10 years ago, and loved it for it's dinky square mids and the no fuss cube sub, it had a huge transformer and for it's size a respectable frequency output.I listen to a lot of Old School Hip Hop and Breakbeat on my PC, and the old Creative 2.1 was good for that.Saw this new one for a fair price, and as it had taller desk speakers thought I'd get it.Came with a big dent in the box, which ended up being a bit ding on the corner of the sub.I didn't notice at first while I was wiring it up, it was only a few hours later I saw it.By the time I noticed, I had dumped the packaging. The sound took a while to get used to, the speakers carry the middle frequencies further for my ears, with the shape being taller than the square ones on the old one that is fair enough, but they make some things I'm used to sound a bit too harsh for me, but nice nonetheless. It's the sub that is a disappointment; it's just not as solid as the other one, the speaker is mounted underneath and is visible when turned over, but it's the sound, it's feels a bit flabby when comparing some tunes that have really low subs. The dent on the corner could have had an impact, but it's such a thick piece of "wood", and all speaker and amp mounts are really tight, and no rattling from the box at all, it really is just not a punchy as the old Creative one.10 years ago for less money, the sub box was a box, a port and controls that did not start farting when pushed; the mids albeit square were very punchy. What happened? Things are supposed to get better as technology progresses aren't they?I decided in the end to put the old ones back in with old sub. Still using this, but not for me, the kids can have it.

Just as expected!
First thing I ordered on Amazon. arrived a wee bit late but the product is great value for money and I would strongly recommend these to others as I am very happy with this product and its quality. The sound is crystal clear with punchy bass and perfect for the average person. :)

Great speakers, but auto-off is a pain.
The sound output is good (I'm no audiophile) and capable of being much louder than required for the small home-office it is in.The main issue I have is with the auto-off feature. I believe this is due to an EU power saving directive. It means to save energy it will switch off when idle (or very quiet) for several minutes. Powering it up again requires a few seconds so audio notifications are often missed. Also be aware that the power lead to the sub is not very long, it is OK for my usage since the sub is near the power source but I was expecting longer.
