Works properly. Way better than expected.

I recently purchased this wireless microphone and I am extremely impressed with its performance and versatility. This microphone is a game-changer for anyone in need of a reliable and convenient audio solution. First and foremost, the wireless functionality of this microphone is exceptional. It did not sound good at first and the voice was a little bit delayed. I actually requested a return but we figured out how to fix the issues and we decided to keep it. Now I don’t know how to cancel the return request because there’s no option to do it 😂 This product is good enough if you’re not a pro. Just perfect for fun karaoke time at home.

Ordered the two-mic SWM16-PRO version. So far so good. The connections were easy. Connected one optical cable from the TV audio out, then the other optical cable to my Receiver input. Mics work great, no lag that the other reviewers mentioned. I did notice the mics seemed weak, so I lowered the Music dial on the mixer to 25% then turned up the volume on my Receiver. Now the mics are loud and not overpowered by the background music. Other reviewers mentioned the mics may die over time, so I went ahead and added the extended warranty for peace of mind.

I ordered this for my living room. I liked that it was easy to connect between by Smart TV and my Bose 2.1 channel stereo (which were already connected with optical cables). I was delightfully surprised with how easy it was to setup and get working. I ended up running the mic gains at full and drawing back the music volume to get a blend I liked. But overall, the system is flawless. The microphones use standard AA batteries and connectivity has been solid. I've only used it a few days, and to be honest I kept all the packaging assuming I would be returning it. However the fun/cost ratio was so great, I decided to keep it. For songs we just use Youtube. Serach for "Karaoke {song name}" and you can get pretty much anything. Only two minor issues. I leave the system in line permanently. So this means it also acts as a flow through device for my cable box. The cable box outputs Dolby+ format. This device can't understand Dolby+ so it doesn't work. You need to set the cable box audio output to stereo. Since I have a 2.1 channel stereo, this is not a problem for me. If you're rocking a big 7.1 system you may lose all your surround channels if this is in-line. Second issue is latency. The wireless mic has a very small latency... maybe 50 to 100ms. It's almost undetectable, but it's there. I assume this issue will exist in every low cost wireless mic. A wired mic wouldn't do this. (you can add one). So overall, this has led to some happy times. I love the optical connections as it means no noise and I can use my existing expensive stereo system.

Plug and play, my living room full of great music and start karaoke easily. Highly recommended
