Loved it
Bought for my daughter who immediately took it out to her ponies and spent the day working out muscles etc. So a huge hit, she loved it.

valuable resource
An excellent book for learning or revising anatomy in the horse. An occasional structure is not as clearly defined as it would be in a photograph or an actual anatomy specimen, which is why i haven't given it 5 stars, but based on value for money compared to anatomy books with the same amount of photographs it is superb value for money!

Excellent workbook for helping learn the horses anatomy
This Anatomy book for the horse is a really good learning tool for students, allowing the information to be absorbed without really trying too hard as it's fun, and colouring the pictures really helps you to remember the information and where everything is located. My daughter is doing level 2 equine hopefully level 3 soon, and she really likes this book. I would definitely recommend this for students, but also for anyone who owns a horse or just wants to learn about the anatomy of the horse in general.Good value for money workbook.

Perfect for beginners
I needed this book for my equine anatomy module at university.I tend to learn best by colour-coding and so for me, this book is AMAZING! Each page has a diagram (each different in aspect and focus ect) with number-name coding; easy to colour correspondingly. I also like that it is just in black and white as it allows you to chose the right colour for you and your memory. Names for parts of the horse are given in both 'regular' terms and veterinary terms which is also very helpful for a novice!

Very helpful book
I am studying Equine Massage and fancied the look of this book as a hand-on approach to learning the names of the parts (I have a dreadful memory for names). I love the way the areas are broken down in finer detail and the drawings are very clear. Others have noted that the pages are shiny which makes it difficult to colour in. I would probably photocopy the pages i'm using (purely for my own use!) that way i can revise numerous times without ruining the original. Or perhaps tracing paper can be used over the pages? Either way it is a great book and I'm going to enjoy using it.
