Empire of Storms

I just completed reading this book and now am wishing that I I'd never finished it in 3 days, wishing that I'd took it up to 5 days because this book is the best book in the whole series.. The plot the secrets(the revelation of those secrets) left me lamenting... This book is very much like GoT with all the POVs and plot twist and especially the ending, which left me lamenting even after five days.. I finished ToD today and understood why SJM had to write ToD what with Maeve and all... Can't wait foe September 2018..i don't know what I'll do till then but I'll survive, if only to see how it all ends...

Well, SJM did warn us about this one. So power packed and action filled and great sexy-times! I can hardly put into words the emotions I felt after reading this one. Left me writhing in pain, pain for Aelin, pain for Rowan. The book finally uncovers the 'whys' of everything since Throne of Glass. And Elide (omg), you go girl!All in all, I absolutely LOVED it. Can't wait for the next book! And lastly I would like to say: YOU BRING HER BACK ROWAN! BRING HER HOME!

What a roller coaster ride this book has been. From the first page, the book keeps us engaged and enthralled. And the number of twists in the tale is amazing. Just that there were a bit too many twists in the middle to make it slightly jarring. Still can't wait for the next (and hopefully last book)

Quality is good

Sarah j. Mass is the queen of fantasy.Her writing shatters me and heals me again.Her books are like tomes and this leads me to take breaks between her series,because it has a complex story and I need break sometimes.In conclusion,if you love fantasy genre then it's right up your alley .

Very long but it's totally worth the time. The ending left me in tears. I'm ordering Tower of Dawn right away.

Best book of the series. Lysandra rocks and its all about the women in the series. Must read. Don't get sad about not having Chaol in this book. He is getting his own Novella next year. You feel like you know whats going to happen but you don't. Ending is the best.

The amount of world building is incredible but it’s done in a way that is still enjoyable and progresses the story along. The characters are life itself as you fall in love with their strengths, their faults, their courage, their loyalty and development into their own unique but vital players in this mind shattering story. The forethought and foreshadowing is breathtaking and soul crushing yet reviving. I am thoroughly enslaved by this series and eager to read the next book. This has been the best book in this series yet.

Empire of Storms is the fifth book in the magnificent Throne of Glass series and continues following Aelin Galathynius as she begins to rally together and call in old debts to start to build an army to take on Erawens forces.I decided to tandem read this book with the next book in the series, Tower of Dawn, as I had heard it gave the best experience for continuing the story and I will say at this point I totally agree. I’m not quite through Tower of Dawn at this point but I think I would have struggled more had I not tandem read it with this book.As for this book, it was absolutely spectacular. The pacing of the story is extraordinary and just as you think you know what is coming next another twist is thrown at you. I found this book to be very addictive and hard to put down and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It has me already on the edge of my seat wanting to read the next book. The characters were brilliant and I loved that the story was told from multiple perspectives. I feel that having the story told this way gave it more depth and also allowed you to get to know the other characters better and it pulled you further into the story that has been woven.Overall, I would 100% recommend reading this book. The world is vast, the story is intense and the entire series is probably one of the best I’ve ever read.

I rarely cry reading a book, but this got me, my head played epic music and I just bawled, it was amazing.Highly recommend tandem reading with tower of dawn.
