Feels a little underwhelming for an EOS.
The only issue with buying things remotely is the absence of the feel in the hand. I have a couple of EOS cameras already, but none are capable of 4K video and I want a new camera to improve my content on YouTube, so I decided on this body as I planned to use my existing Canon lenses. Unfortunately, I did not read the spec of the camera properly as it seems the lens mount is a different format to other EOS cameras and my EF format lenses do not fit. The camera is pretty small, about 1/3rd smaller than my EOS 50D and does feel a lot more plasticky in the hand, my other cameras have a metal body and I think this one must be all plastic as it weighs next to nothing in comparison to my other DSLRs. I cannot comment on it's performance as I never actually used it, I only held it in my hand for a few moments until I realised the lenses don't fit and it was carefully packed away and returned, much to my disappointment. I would have to buy the EOS 90D to use my lenses, as it would appear that none of the mirrorless EOS cameras will host the EF-S lenses. You can buy an adaptor but that will push your focal length out by some margin and on a cropped sensor this may just be too much for some.

Excellent image quality just a little on the small size
Had been looking for a mirrorless camera for a while and I favour canon EOS as my brand ..after a bit of research I plumped for the R50, there had been a price drop so it fell into my range. Very good value for money packed with features however you will need to factor in the expense of buying an adapter for your EF lens, that said image quality and sharpness is impressive as is the frame rate compared to my eos 700d I do a lot of sports photography.. if it has a down side it’s size its a small camera ideal for vlogging but I find I’m accidentally hitting buttons on the bottom right of the camera and a there’s a lack of a battery grip available on the market probably due to were the SD card is situated. So that’s why I’ve given it 4 out 5 not full marks

Warranty repair nightmare
The Camera was fine until it developed an intermittent fault, returned for warranty repair by Amazon to Olympic shaver. It appears they wasn't able to diagnose the fault, all they did was to check all the buttons/menu's work without checking internal electronics and then returned camera to me stating no repair carried out. Amazon has since issued a refunded on this item.

Wow, wow, wow
Moving from canon 750D to this. I thought it may be better but it's million times better. Two things literally destroys any DSLR, ability to see via viewfinder how the photo will actually looks like and absolutely incredible focus capability, it's locks on the eye with split of the second, there is many other reasons for me but this two alone are enough to switch. I'm using adapter with ef-s lenses without any issues at all. Absolutely love it
