Really interesting little device. The radio remotes have a reasonably long range (10 meters through walls), so I can turn on my garden lights from the front door, with the unit installed in the back of the house. The WiFi connection is easy to set up and appears to work well. If the signal is too weak, however, it disconnects and doesn't reconnect until the unit is powered off and back on. Finally, the physical switch input means that I can turn on the lights remotely and switch them off manually if I want to, and vice versa, with the various systems (WiFi, radio, manual) working together and nothing overriding anything.

The description on here is currently incorrect. It mentions LiIon batteries and RFID. Neither of these apply and must be mistakes. This was relatively easy to set up. I wired this in to a simple garage light setup. Now I can turn the lights on from outside or either door and I have a simple mains switch beside the door. If you turn the lights on with the mains switch you can turn them off with the remote and vice Versa. It’s is a nice system. There are confusingly two similarly named apps for this device in the Apple Store. The one I used was the one with the most reviews the second appears to be either a copy or an old version. Currently I can’t test the WiFi ability as it is installed at the extreme end of our coverage. Both remote fobs worked out of the box. I am curious if they are properly coded or if I purchased a second unit if the remotes would also trigger this unit. I will also see how this lasts over time and update accordingly.

I purchased this switch to power a remote gate lock. I fitted it in April and it was working perfectly, so I would have given it 5 stars, but three 3 months later it has died for no apparent reason. I have tried to contact Colorock, but there appears to be no way of doing so? As I am left with a defective product and no way to request support or a replacement from Colorock, I can only give this 1 star.

Easy to fit, easy to use the app. I now have a convenient voice control of my cinema lighting. The only problem I foresee is if I ever sell my home, do I remove the device of tell the buyer to download the app and buy a Alexa account?

Utilisé depuis bientôt 4 mois, je suis ravi de ce petit boîtier. Installé sous un carport il me permet d’allumer et éteindre l’éclairage à partir de l’interrupteur sous le carport, ou à partir de la maison ou ailleurs par le wifi avec l’application smartlife sur mon portable, ou avec une portée de 15 m avec la télécommande. Tres pratique et encore plus depuis que smartlife fonctionne avec CarPlay, le peux aussi commander l’éclairage depuis mon autoradio. Une télécommande reste dans la voiture qui n’a pas CarPlay.

Avevo preso questo articolo perchè oltre che wifi aveva anche il modulo RF con 2 telecomandi in dotazione, e sulla descrizione stava scritto che era possibile aggiungere ulteriori telecomandi ( fino addirittura a 40) : avevo bisogno di avere 5 telecomandi in totale. Ebbene, appena arrivato installato in app smart life e aggiunto e configurato altri 3 telecomandi in modo molto semplice. Purtroppo dopo 4 giorni c'è stato un aggiornamento automatico dell'articolo e i 3 telecomandi aggiunti non funzionano più: provato e riprovato a riaccoppiarli ma niente...devo valutare se effettuare il reso dell'articolo in quando è venuta a mancare l'opzione che mi aveva spinto all'acquisto.Nel frattempo ho scritto al venditoreche mi ha molto deluso nella risposta: provi ad acquistare altri 3 telecomandi...ma che risposta é? Se poi anche quelli eventualmente acquistati non funzionano? Quindi correggo la valutazione: 1 stella che è pure troppo!!!
