Very sturdy, carries 80-lb. dog with ease
I have a 13yo Rottweiler, around 80 pounds, with severe arthritis. I'm on the 2nd floor and he can no longer walk up and down the stairs. This has been an absolute lifesaver. I have used this for ~8 mos. now to carry him on my back. It is fully adjustable and works great for me (for reference, I am a 5'5", 120 lbs.). I take him up and down a full flight of stairs at least 3x/day, with ease and no resulting back pain/injuries anywhere. It is very sturdy and well made. I can't recommend this product enough!

MEASURE 3X's runs BIG! STURDY and COMFY
My dog is 70lbs and "beefy" (American pitbull terrier and german shepherd mix) and needed leg reconstruction surgery and I can not lift her myself. This helped so much in getting her in and out of my jeep. However size down!!!! I measured and it was still big! She wears a L or XL in clothes but I got a med and its still a little long. The straps to make it a backpack and difficult to figure out even when looking at the ad photo and it does NOT come with instructions. She is still too heave for me to do the backpack but I am only 5'2" so would probably work better for someone bigger than me. But the lift itself is STURDY and the BEST one I have found that wont dig into your fur baby and has the best support! I trust it fully!

Great quality.
We used the carrier to carry our 70lb shepherd mix up and down the stairs after being diagnosed with myelopathy.

Design is sturdy but not well thought out or set up especially for female dogs.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because my 65lbs 14 year old dog hurt her back leg and needed to be carried. I thought this looked strong and safe to help me move her.Ordered a small received a 3X, ok figured I'd try it anyway I needed to get her up and downstairs. It came all connected so I tightened up straps to try to fit her in it, which took longer than it should have, but no problem. As soon as I started clipping her, in the weight was hindering her ability to stay up on her own, by the time I got her all, in she was stressed out and I hadn't even tried lifting her up.Whoever designed this didn't think it through, the openings in the rear, aren't conducive with her being able to pee through it or poop, even if it fit. This was not well thought out at all.Had to remove it downstairs so she was able to hobble about to do her business, since the weight, and lack of flexibility made it impossible. The harness will end up smelling like pee because it covers the area..The "handles" for you could carry them like a suitcase aren't functional at all you have to hold each individually since they in no way meet, to use one hand. Which makes no sense given it's too big for her.The straps for the harness are just as badly thought out, and there is no other way to arrange to use it. Utterly ridiculous. The construction is sturdy, but since the functionality is lacking, it's the only positive thing I can say.Even if it was the correct size, the set up makes it impossible for a female dog to void in this contraption.Don't waste your, time or money for a female dog definitely 💯

Perfect if you’re a strong bigger man
This is definitely for larger men! I am a 58 230 pound woman. It has no waist belt though it looks like it does, it does have dual chest straps one across the chest and one across the belly. You have to make sure you have everything adjusted for you before you put it on. There is no let me pull this down to help lift the dog up feature like on other products. Adjusting it while you’re wearing it is too difficult, especially if you’re alone. The video online really helped put it together. I would say it’s very durable. We didn’t have any issues with it, I got a small for my mid/petite American bully. She’s 21 inches long and it fit her perfect, maybe slightly small, but it was better than the medium, which would’ve been too big for her. The biggest problem is that I have boobs and I don’t have wide enough shoulders. So if you have a feminine frame, this is not for you. I am returning.

Harness Supports whole Body Comfortably
I bought this harness sling for my 11 year old 59lb. arthritic Heeler Mix "Hawk" so I could lift his whole body, not just the front or the back, into the pickup. It nicely supports his fused back and hips when I lift up. I am not using the straps that came with the harness just the handles. The straps were assembled and fastened so I didn`t have to figure that part out if I was going to use them. It is wonderful to not have him cry out in pain with this harness as he is lifted. This is a game changer for traveling with him.

Works pretty well, needs instructions
The picture shows my 65 pound (20kg) dog ready to go. You can see my shoulder straps sitting on top. I'm using the harness to carry her up and down a 12 foot ladder onto my boat that is "on the hard" in the boatyard.Overall the harness is well built and well designed. It's strong and comfortable for both of us (considering I'm lifting a 65 pound weight!! 😜).It came with no instructions, so it took me a while to figure out where the 7 straps go around the dog and which end was which (FYI, the end with three openings is the tail end, theoretically allowing the dog to pee, or maybe just to avoid pressure on a male's private parts).Instructions on how to put it on and how to adjust the many straps would have made life easier. I'm still working out thecstrap lengths. This, and a problem with the metal hooks that connect the people side with the dog side, are the cause for dinging the score by one star. All in all it's a good product but the metal hooks need to be a different kind. The two at the bottom repeatedly undid themselves while I was carrying the dog, and one finally just lost the self-close spring, so I have to rehook it every time.
