Round the corner...
I'm not a plasterer by any description, but this trowel made the job of finishing outside corners very easy. Recommend it.

A must have tool for any plasterer.
Fantastic tool for skimming round corners, so much easier than using a metal bullnose or plastic bag to finish corners.

After hiring a professional to do some remodeling in our house, I had to go back and redo the mudding in the corners as the man who charged $100 an hour for his work left our corners a total disaster. I did some research and found some videos of This Old House online, showing how to properly mud the corners after drywalling. I bought this tool as it looked like the tool shown in the video and followed their instructions. It worked great and my corners are crisp and exceptionally precise. I’m not patting myself on the back, though admittedly I am pleased I could pull this off, but rather stressing the necessity of having the right tool for the job and a good instructor. Absolutely worth the cost. Do yourself a favor and just buy the right tool…it will save you a ton of stress and you too can stand back and observe with pride that your work far exceeds the dude that charged you too much for a crap job after being condescending and overbearing. :-/ a crisp corner is a necessity if you are painting two different colors. A wobble corner makes it impossible to paint straight lines. I included pictures for an example. Sure wish I’d taken a before picture so you could see what an amateur with the right tool was able to improve.

Just what I needed for some oddball angles. Easy to take apart and clean. Easy to adjust. Some have said it is too small but it is the same size as my fixed 90 degree angle trowel.

Was surprised at how rugged this corner trowel is, for the price. The only complaint I have is that they put the darn bar code sticker on the inside surface of the trowel, and it took an act of God to get the sticker off. I had to use several solvents and a scratch pad. Whatever this bar code sticker was made of, I'm pretty sure it came from NASA! Because it was made to STAY FOREVER! Maybe it wouldn't have bothered some people, but I don't like the lines it would have left in the drywall mud if I left the sticker on the surface of the trowel! LOL
