Firmtread Anti Slip Deck Coating is effective on two fronts: Firstly, it will keep you on your feet when you are walking on your decking as it contains really small particles to give you slip resistance (though you’ll hardly notice them even if you walk on your deck in bare feet). Secondly, it gives tired decking a new lease of life as it will bring out the natural grain of the wood. Better yet, you can have this in a choice of four vibrant colours to change the look of your decking, or original clear if you are happy with the existing look but just want to make it safe.

This stuff really works. On untreated decking, it does soak in so bear this in mind when calculating how much you will need.However, it creates a proper non-slip surface even in heavy rain. It's not cheap but here you get what you pay for. I think there must be fine sand through the paint as it's the dickens to stir! But boy, does it work!

Does exactly what it says on the tin . Make sure you measure decking and buy enough. It does soak in to dry worn timber. No slip at all now on wet decking.

Disappointing decking anti slip paint
Delayed review as i wanted to see how it would be after a winter. The Paint has been down for one year now. We did not have bad winter but the paint is flaking off.. It did provide anti slip properties.

A must for Decking
Excellent value for money does what it says and it looks good. We would recommend using this product to ensure no-one slips on the decking when it has been raining.

Arrived sooner than promised and goes on well
Easy to apply and dried quickly (we were using it on new tanalised decking applying two coats).Originally disappointed with the estimated delivery date but it arrived sooner than expected.

Great product and works well
Great stain and works well. Bought 3 tins it covered well but will need 4 next year when I re-coat as it's new decking and very thirsty. Will buy again from this seller.
