I have looked all over for a light that I could read comfortably in bed without any problems. I purchased the light clips that clip onto your book pages. I was very disappointed when I lay my head down on my pillow and the clip either continually fell off my book or else slipped out of place. I spent most of my time trying unsuccessfully to adjust the clip to stay on my book and to keep the light in the right position to read. After total frustration, I happened to come across the CeSunlight Rechargeable LED Book Light that claimed to be hands free and best for bed reading. I decided to give it a try and to my amazement, this flexible light worked perfectly for reading in bed as I lay my head on my pillow. True to the claim, I did not need my hands to read a book other than to turn the pages. This light wraps comfortably around my neck and I can adjust the two lights to shine exactly where I want. In fact, most of the time, I only need to turn on one light to read the small paperback. So, if you need the perfect light to read in bed, hands free, you need to look no further! This is the light you need and it's rechargeable, too. It comes with the recharging unit also. Each recharge last for a least 8 hrs. or more! This is the ONLY light you will ever need to read a book while laying your head on your pillow is here! It's the best at a great price and it's worth every penny!

Fabulous reading light! I LOVE this light! With my aging eyes I need light to read well and the "reading lights" or lamps I purchased just never were quite right...too bright for anyone else in the room...too bright for my husband wanting to go to sleep next to me...not bright enough or directed enough to help me read. Well, after reading the reviews here I decided to try this LED, around the neck light. It is PERFECT! It provides just the right amount of directed light for my eyes, it stays in place, it's easy to adjust the beam to wherever I need it, and the rest of the room remains darkened for my sleeping husband! It's also great for hands-free use for any needed light (better than our headlamps!) I love that it's re-chargeable. I just plug it in (with the cord that comes with it...hang on to that!) to my usp power station and it charges up quickly. One of my better purchases!

I'm getting a second. After 3 years of daily use and young ones being rough with it, one side finally gave out. However, in those 3 years it had great brightness, a long life, was comfortable on my neck, and recharged easily. I've used it for bedtime reading to my little ones. I child easily read with the lights in their room off. It had performed marvelously and has made many travels. Would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a reading lamp.

I had difficulty choosing a rating for this product. I read the reviews prior to purchase and chose to buy it because it was recommended for reading in bed stating that it was comfortable around the neck. I did not find that to be so. The blue portion where the charger is located is thick and stiff. It is impossible for me to lie on that comfortably. I love the lights; they are quite bright and the minimum light from one side was enough for me to see quite well. I would have just pointed one side toward the book (not from a prone position!) except that it is not very bendable and I couldn't find a way to make the light point to the book other than holding it in my hand and focusing it. If someone else has figured this out, I would love to hear the solution. I think the light is very good and I think it would work at night in a sitting position but not in a prone position.
