Amazing socks for active people!
I first purchased these socks 3 years ago and I just purchased my 3rd set! They are my favorite socks for running and hiking and I wear them all the time. They are comparable enough in performance and durability to the Balega socks I used to buy at running stores, and priced far less, so I stick with these now. I would say you can expect to get at least a year out of them with regular use before any noticeable shrinkage or loss of elasticity. I still have a few of the original pack I bought 3 years ago that are in good shape. These socks are very soft, medium thickness, and have a roomy fit in the toe (I wear a women's size 9 - 9.5 and but the medium size). They do a great job of wicking sweat, moderating temperature, and preventing blisters from friction. I wear them in hot and cold weather (mostly hot, as I live in Texas) and they keep my feet dry and comfortable in all conditions. They are somewhat prone to piling, as are all woolen garments, but it's not bad. They do take up more space in a shoe than a typical thin synthetic or cotton ankle sock, but that is to be expected, and what you get in return is all the benefits of wool that I mentioned above. Now that I'm in my 40's, I have to take better care of my feet and joints when running and hiking, and these socks are a big help. I love these socks and will keep buying them as long as I can find them!

Very soft, hugs the foot comfortably, perfect thickness, easy to put on!
I wear a size 9 women's shoe and have a pretty wide foot, so I ordered a size medium. They fit perfectly, and coincide with my shoe size. A large would have been too big. They are SO SOFT! And slip on very easily. Exactly what I was hoping for. I thought since they had wool in them they might not have enough stretch, or they might feel rough to the skin, but they are wonderful. I've yet to wear them outside for walking, but they are the perfect thickness: not too thick, not too thin. I am sure if they are washed as directed, they will not shrink. I bought 2 boxes (6 pair per box) of a really nice heather charcoal, that has contrasting color stitching over the instep. This way you won't over-wear any given sock. I chose these for the price and description. Honestly, I have worn much more expensive socks similar to these, and would not go back to that $15 / pair sock again. I would also recommend them as "footies" for around the house, any season.

Super soft and comfy wool socks that keep your feet dry
This pack of ankle socks is perfect for daily walks and workouts. The wool material is incredibly soft and does not feel scratchy at all. They do a great job keeping your feet dry and cool without being too thick inside your shoes. They stay up perfectly on your heel and do not slide down or bunch up while you move. The pack comes with nice colors and they wash up great without shrinking.

Good after a few wears.
These are extremely comfortable, fit well, and my feet have never been cold wearing them. The only real complaint I have about them is the first few times you wear them they are very slippery. It feels like ice skating inside your own shoes. After a couple wears the fabric seems to no longer have that slickness and they are perfect.

Great socks
My new favorite socks! They’re so thick and cushiony, but not hot. Great fit and support for the middle of your foot. Would make great stocking surfers.

Improved my foot health
I’ve been dealing with athletes foot for decades and using daily maintenance medication for longer than many people reading this have been alive. I generally don’t have any issues other than I always at least one or two nails that are cloudy and brittle. I’ve tried synthetic blends in the past but this just seemed to make things worse so I always go back to cotton. I was been reading about the benefits of wool so I thought I would try these socks. I had several clouded nails at the time but in just a few weeks of wearing wool socks I noted subtle improvements. At the time of writing this it has been over 4 months of wearing wool socks exclusively and all my nails are completely clear and healthy! I honestly can’t believe it since I haven’t had seen completely healthy nails since I was a teenager. I do continue to use daily antifungal maintenance medication but the only change has been the wool socks. I think part of the issue was the cotton socks being soaked with sweat when I took them off at the end of the day regardless of the season or activity levels. The wool socks, however, are usually dry. Even after taking them out of a hiking boot on a hot day on the trail they will feel damp but not soaked. Consequently, they dry out completely on a rock while taking a short break. By staying dry they don’t bind up and cause hot spots like cotton socks. That, and I think they just distribute the heat better than cotton and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually cooler on hot days. Of course, in cooler temps they are warmer and I did appreciate how much so until the other day when I wore some cotton socks that felt like I was wearing ice cubes on my feet when I was walking around my hard wood floors at the end of the day. With these particular wool ankle socks I did note a hole around the toes with a couple of the socks after a few washes. My experience with cotton socks is that even the smallest of holes will grow exponentially with each use and so I generally just discard them. At first, I was disappointed thinking that these socks would not last but it does not appear that the holes grow like cotton. In fact, I haven’t thrown one wool sock away. My eyes aren’t great at close distant but it seems like the holes I noticed disappeared. Even if they didn’t it doesn’t matter since they do not currently seem to be a problem. I haven’t had these socks long enough to notice any thinning at wear points like cotton socks but I suspect that since they don’t bind like cotton they are less prone to wear. I now have a dozen pairs of wool ankle socks and I’ve gotten in the habit of putting them in a separate bin for washing otherwise they end up getting tumble dried with the rest of the family’s close. They have been in drier a number of times and I suspect they look a little more aged as a result. If I wash them separately with other delicate items I just lay them out on the floor after washing since they aren’t noticeably wet after a spin cycle and they completely dry out overnight. At this point I would rather put on a pair of wool socks straight out of the washer then put on dry pair of cotton socks since the results would be the opposite at the end of the day.

Great socks. Have lasted well.
I’m writing this review having owned these socks for many months. They are my go to socks for the summer months. Soft, comfortable, breathable - do not smell. I’ve replaced my cotton socks with these. They have washed well and lasted well too. I will buy again.

Soft and supportive
I recently purchased the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks, and I must say, they have surpassed my expectations in terms of comfort, support, and performance. Here's a detailed review based on my experience: Comfort and Softness From the moment I put them on, I noticed how incredibly soft these socks are. The merino wool blend provides a luxurious feel against the skin, which makes them perfect for long runs and hikes. They offer just the right amount of warmth without being too heavy or causing overheating. Support and Cushioning One of the standout features of these socks is the excellent support they offer. The compression support around the arch and ankle gives a snug fit, which is essential for preventing blisters and reducing fatigue during prolonged activities. The thick cushioning is another highlight, providing an extra layer of comfort that feels like walking on clouds. This cushioning also helps absorb impact, making each step feel more energized and less taxing on the feet. Breathability Despite the thick cushioning, these socks are highly breathable. The merino wool naturally wicks away moisture, keeping my feet dry even during intense workouts. This breathability is crucial in preventing unpleasant odors and maintaining overall foot health. Performance These socks have genuinely added an extra bounce to my step. Whether I’m running on trails or hiking up steep inclines, the combination of cushioning and support translates to a more enjoyable and less strenuous experience. The added spring in my step helps with endurance and reduces the impact on my joints. Conclusion Overall, the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks are an outstanding choice for anyone looking for high-quality, supportive, and comfortable socks. They excel in providing the necessary support and cushioning for high-impact activities while maintaining breathability and durability. I highly recommend these socks to runners, hikers, and anyone in need of reliable and comfortable foot support.

Great
These feel really good, bought them for a holiday in the Mediterranean, walked miles everyday in new trainers . Never had any discomfort, never sweaty feet and good support. Cant say how long they will last but recommended on a few weeks experience.

Fazit: absolute Empfehlung!
