It worked as intended with a short 3# hammer. I wouldn't have been able to do this job without this tool. 1 good decent hit, 3 total, and the darn thing was separated. Nice storage case. I'll probably never use it again in this lifetime; however, I am delighted with how easy it made my Amazon DIY suspension replacement (24mm drive axle socket, fork tool, and parts totaled less than $75 with Amazon compared to the autopart stores $230 that starts with an "A". ) that took less than an hour to complete. Lower ball joints, outer tire rod ends, and sway bar replaced. 2013 Volkswagen Passat.

This pickle fork set worked perfectly for removing ball joints and tie rods. Having multiple sizes in one kit made it easy to choose the right tool for the job. The steel feels strong and held up well under hammering without bending. Used it during suspension work and it saved a lot of time compared to struggling with stuck joints. Nice case for storage and a great value for occasional or DIY mechanic use.

In all reality, I am always looking for something to make things quicker and easier. The tool came with the option to either use it in an air hammer or use a regular hammer with supplied attachments. For the three-quarter ton pick up truck I used this on it worked on every joint but one, the hammer attachment made easy work at the last one. Seems to be well-built, time will tell.

Very compact case, takes up much less room than the 6 pickle forks it replaces and it fits in a nice little case. I've absolutely wailed on the manual hammer attachment and it's held up just fine, bit hard to unscrew after i do so but no permanent damage. At the shop, I use my solid ones more often but if you do mobile work, and space is limited; definitely get these. I think they were like 30 bucks when i bought them so excellent value.

The air hammer adapter diameter didn't fit my air hammer. Had to grind it down.

I used it to replace my stabilizer on my 2006 Ford F350 after struggling to remove the old one initially, unsuccessfully. This tool made the task go quickly and safely, I am very impressed, having the right tool for the job makes all the difference. The price was extremely good, especially considering the free shipping and saving me a 2 hour drive to go to the big city to spend way more money than it cost me! Waiting a week for it to come in the mail was well worth it, and I live in the middle of nowhere in rural Canada!
