Lightly damaged/broken
One of the internal clips that hold the disc's in place was broken on arrival. There was no replace option, only refund. So I super glued the clip back on. Everything else was in excellent condition and arrived on time.

One of the best anime seasons of all time even if you've never seen season 1 & 2
The first Arc of the Bleach manga/anime is one of the best in anime I've ever seen and in my years I've seen a LOT of anime vintage, old, and new.Even if you haven't seen the first two seasons this is probably worth your time and money.Just don't do what I did and spend nearly forty dollars on it. Right now it's on sale for sixteen which is an excellent price. For the number of episodes and the fact you're getting a whole season I'd easily pay up to twenty-five bucks. This season has some of the best character arcs in all of Bleach. Even better it has some of the best fight sequences as well. While this is most definitely a shounen series, most of the female characters don't suffer from the typical bimboesque treatment girls and women seem to endure.I'm not a huge fan of J-pop music or anime music in general. I'm more of a 70's rock person. But, even I have to admit most of the music during this season is pretty fantastic.I'd highly recommend buying seasons 1 and 2 as well just so you get the full experience of how awesome this story arc and season really are, but if you only buy one, it should definitely be this one. This first arc is truly the best and even if you don't watch any farther than this season, it ends at a good stopping place that will feel complete and be satisfying instead of empty and angry like so many other anime arcs seem to end.

Bleach Collection 3
Another great bleach set! This set includes the conclusion to the soul society ark and most of the bount ark which the bount ark itself is 30 episodes in total.I admit when I watched bleach on tv I skipped pretty much all the fillers so I actually never watched this ark. Now that the series has cancelled I can go back and see the entire series fully. This bount ark starts out really weak... With pointless episodes just to introduce the 3 new mod souls (which they are cannon) then it finnaly introduces the bounts aka vampires in the series. The show basically goes a certian magical index on us with the bounts having somewhat magical like abilites rather than what we are used to in bleach with other villians with sword abilities. I can see why people hate the fillers so much, this one isn't bad though since it doesn't cut into the middle of an ark like *cough* the hueco mundo ark (IDK how to spell it) were there was a bunch of fillers interrupting the cannon like every now and then. Still I want to see bleach revived for the final thousand blood war ark.... But Japan kind of gave up on bleach so.... Ya... Proboly never coming back. Some of you might notice that viz is extremly slow with these bleach releases because they have to go back and remaster like 28 episodes per set, that takes a bit of time even though all they are really doing is cleaning the animation to be sharper and be more colorful.I recommend to support bleach and buy all the blu-ray sets.

Very good with minor flaws
The episodes themselves, of course, are very good. The 3rd season is excellent, and wraps up the story of Ichigo's quest to save Rukia. However, the product itself, the box, had some issues. First, the first two seasons' box sets had English text on each "page" - quotes from the show. This was cool, and this volume apparently continues this tradition with a slight problem - the text is in Japanese! The target audience of this box set, English-speaking audiences, can not read this text! My second issue is the same issue I have with many products these days, the anti-theft feature. The little magnetic strip which has been adhered to some part of the product, usually hidden so it can not be easily found and removed from the product in a store, first off, has no place in a product purchased on the internet. However, it seems that the anti-theft device is being placed not just by retailers, but by manufacturers now. The magnetic strip was stuck to the inside of one of the "pages" and removal of it peeled away some of the cardboard and ink which it was stuck to, thus ruining the aesthetically pleasing look of the product, and even making it look kind of "beat up" - which is a big problem for someone like me who takes extreme care of his books and DVDs. (to the point of keeping them in book cases with closing doors to keep dust out.)The bonus item that came with the limited edition, the Ichigo Hollow Mask, is very well made of sturdy material. The base is solid and has a good weight to it. This is not cheaply made like so many similar products, and is definitely worth buying the Limited Edition for if you have a collection of anime figures and collectibles. So, a 4 out of 5 for this product, but with proper packaging and the abolishment of the magnetic strip that is only an impedance to paying customers, this would have gotten a 5 out of 5.

A very good addition to a collection for the series.
First off let me say, I don't know whose bright idea it was to exclude the episode list in the description so here it is:Disc 01 // 42-45Disc 02 // 46-49Disc 03 // 50-53Disc 04 // 54-58Disc 05 // 59-63Now that that is out of the way, the product came in very good packaging. It has a very nice matte finish with only tiny little scuffs on the corners as most box sets do. It came with some surprise items which were 2 unique character postcards. On the back sides of each disk holder, there is some great character artwork within the case. 5 disks in total.I'm assuming that since your this far into the series you have probably seen it already and are looking to collect. Either way, my opinion on the series is that its good. Interesting story and I like all the characters. The DVD case is enclosed in a very nice slipcase as well. The statue of the mask that comes doesn't fit just right and took a little messing around with to make fit on the stand. The stand itself was surprisingly heavy. It felt like it was made of some kind of stone which I very much appreciated.I highly recommend this product if you are looking to collect the series.

A mix of good and weak episodes but still good value
This set starts off strong, with the conclusion of the Rescue Rukia/Assault on Soul Society arc. The secret is revealed amid escalating battles. After that, a few interlude episodes before the humans return home. Then there are several episodes that introduce three new side characters who turn up for a while. After that, the weakest arc in Bleach (in my opinion) begins. This is the first filler arc that was anime-original - the Bount. The new side characters end up being helpful in dealing with them. The Bount story concludes in the next collection, set 4. While I think this is a fairly weak arc, it has its moments, and I think it's worthwhile buying the sets for the canon episodes that are included. I don't like a lot of spoilers, so I'll leave it at that. The filler episodes do reveal one important point about Ichigo that is canon, though they don't reveal the full truth here.

Another Awesome Set!
The next set in the Bluray collection of Bleach. I love this show and will be buying the rest of the blurays as soon as they come out! Also, the packaging is great and so is the Bluray remaster.
