Did not work with PC devices.
I bought it to act as an easy way to expand the usable USB inputs on my pc. My mouse and keyboard however did not work when using it. I thought it was broken, but when I tried it on a regular phone charger it did work to pass a 5v charge (wasn't enough to power a Chromecast, even though the charger without it would). My product may be defective or maybe that's what the USB splitter intended use is. Regardless it's not worth the hassle to return, but I thought I'd leave this review here to save you the hassle and recommend you buy a proper USB Hub if using it to expand PC inputs is your concern. Otherwise the device seems well constructed and price is low if all you need is that 5v.
