Panfish and Trout Luv'em
Leeches... eeeww... If you've ever waded or swam in a lake or floated a tube down a river, you might have found little small greenish/black leeches on your skin. Look under rocks near the shore, in still water. Yep, there are leeches there. Leeches are a high protein delicacy to panfish and trout. I think what makes these effective is the shape and high contrast color in the water. Also, it is generally difficult for the fish to "peck" the bait off (like they might with a real earthworm or meal worm... which are effective as well). I like to put a drop of garlic, or garlic leech, or garlic worm from Pro-Cure on these small baits, just to put more scent in the water. Anyway, these work, and are a great fish catching tool in your tackle bag.
