These definitely helped to protect my plants from the Florida already this year. I have purchased more. They are adequately light weight and I use clamps to hold them in place. Works perfectly

It is a lighter version of a full shade so don't expect to hold back a football team. The winds do not flap it all over the place, there is enough shade for sun comfort. Grommets usually show wear and tear after a season on most shades, especially if there is a lot of pull tension. To salvage the shades, I tie paracord around the corners. Not as pretty but very effective.

The material is fairly thin, so if you live in a windy area—even mildly windy—it can tear more easily than expected. However, it's very easy to set up, provides good shade, and allows rainwater to pass through, which is great if you're using it over a garden.

We used these to cover camelias that were in the sun too much. Central California summers can be brutal (105+) and that is the death sentence for camelias unless they are shaded. These cloths did the job and covered them nicely. I suffered no damage. Slight down side is they are light and must be tied down or will blow around. No complaints.

I think the shade cloth is a good product, but the shipper sent the wrong size. I ordered a 12’ x 12’ cloth and they sent one that was 12’ x 8’. It would be nice to get a refund for the difference in price.

We used this in an area over a small pond. We wanted to keep leaves and pine needles out of the pond. It is working for that purpose. It is a little dark for plants to grow fast. The plants that are around the pod are arranged so that they received partial day son from the early morning or late evening sun. This is working great for us and this and the Shane cloth is doing just what we wanted it to do.

I needed sunlight protection and this is a perfect over window cover.

This is not 40-50% shade cloth as it says. If you go through the fine print of the description at the very bottom of the add it says 80-90% shade. Far too dark for a greenhouse so we will be returning it

This shade cloth is keeping my greenhouse much cooler. I got the 50% as that was recommended for my area. I like the way the edges are sewn numerous times so it is less likely to pull apart. So far I’ve found wind does not affect it much. I also can partially open the roof vents which is great. I’d recommend this shade cloth.

It's light yet strong. Has seen 2 very hot summers so far. Let's some sunlight into the house BUT not the heat. Works really well. Not affected very much by wind which is great. Should have got these years ago instead of fabric sails.
