A timeless, lovely doll
I love these dolls. I bought a small 7" one for my neice for her first birthday who goes to bed with her every night. And then for her second birthday wanted to get accessories, but they only do them for the bigger standard dolls. So Rosie was bought (love the hair, reminds me of mine!) along with the clothing set.It was the perfect present, and she loves her. THe dolls are extremely well made, they are not plastic and horrible, they can stay in bed (or indeed in their own bed - nothing like an amazon box it arrived in for making a bed for them!) as they are soft. They are fabulous and I would highly recommend them as good first dolls for the very young who will keep them and play with them for many many years to come - and possibly even pass onto the next generation (they are that timeless!).

Yes this was just the thing - Get the clothes as well though for maximum playability
Of my three offspring, the five year old girl is the toughest to buy for. I have an eleven year old boy, and an eight year old boy, and they're quite easy, because I was once an eight year old and eleven year old boy myself, although not at the same time, and in a way there's a part of me that still is. But I've never been a five year old girl, not even once. Also, that's a tricky age anyway, because they can't quite articulate precisely what they want; so my remit wasShe: "I want a doll, with stripy stockings"Me: "Like a rag doll?"She: "And she's got different clothes"Me: "A fashion doll? Like a barbie?"Me thinks: (heart sinks. So soon?! No, please don't let her fall for that souless commercial franchise already!)She: "No."Me (thinks): (Oh thank god!)She: "You can cuddle her"Me: "So a rag doll? You want a rag doll, like Jemima in..."Me thinks: (oh what's the use; I work with people who can't remember Play School)Me: "With stripy legs. Yeah, I get it."But this filled the remit and then some. Much much more charisma than Jemima ever had, very well made, fair trade, and if you get one of the five or six packets of clothes - any one of which provides numerous combinations, you can change her outfit meaning she's a play-with role-play toy as well as a cuddling/companion toy. Recommend buying one of the set of clothes to maximise playability and give her a unique appeal over other soft toys competing for attention. The manufacturers think she's called Rosanne, but my daughter is insistent her name is Amy. Lol... but that's the only criticism. C'mon guys, get the name right!

lovely well made doll
Have bought this doll for my niece and daughter and am very pleased with the product. It is beautifully made, brightly coloured and seems very durable. My niece has had the doll for a year and it still looks great. I much prefer rag dolls like these to plastic 'realistic' dolls and I think it will be a treasured toy for many years. Tempted to buy some of the others in the range!

Wrong colour clothes
After spending ages looking carefully at dolls, I chose this one. I loved the pink dress on it and turns out it comes purple, more like the feet. Apart from that, cute.

Fair Trade and Handmade Rag Doll Rosanne
I`m delighted with Rosanne. My granddaughter is not two yet, but carries her around and cuddles her. The clothes come off easily so when the time comes we will be buying more for her more. Lovely also, that the money goes to the right place with fare trade, and great to have a hand made product instead of the gaudy plastic.

very cute
Our 2 year old loves taking her clothes on and off... it is a beautiful doll... but the stitching on the freckles has started to come adrift very quickly.. (also be warned if buying separate clothes to go with it- check the size! we bought clothes that were too small!!)

The stuffing fell out
within five minutes of the present being opened the seam where the body attaches to the legs had split and the stuffing was starting to fall out. It was a little upsetting for my three year old who has just got it for her birthday and the leg fell off the Jemima we gave to her twin sister.

Lovely doll...if you only want to look at it!
A lovely looking doll made from lovely material. However before my daughter had even played with it one leg fell off! She liked playing with the leg as she is only 1, and inevitably she sucked it a bit, only for the blue dye of the stripes on the leg to run into the white! Lovely looking doll but I will have to get sewing on boxing day :-(
