Great tool, easy to use, very sharp and useful size for small and medium projects

Great buy
Great saw for a great price, you simply can't pass this one up. Package wasn't damaged, blade wasn't bent, saw teeth were protected with guards, easy to assemble, feels good and solid to use, cuts smooth and true. Even arrived a day early so I'm pleased as punch with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a good addition to the toolbox!

Good saw, as others have stated, the handle is a little loose. I suppose it could be fixed, but it’s not bad enough yet. Good saw for the money

Easier on my joints.
I like this style of saw it is easier on my joints and it cuts better! I have better control and less vibration than a standard hand saw.

Good blade, lousy handle
The saw blade itself is great quality, especially for the price. My issue was with the handle and specifically the screw that connects the handle to the blade, which broke almost immediately (maybe ~2 hours) upon use.

Not very sharp, leaves edges shredded
Not very sharp and highly aggressive cut... This isn't a smooth cut like many of the other cheap pull saws. I've had pull saws that have cost me $6 and did a way better job... this thing is highly aggressive and leaves the edges shredded.. Could be good for outdoor sawing on branches or logs. but for shop work... avoid this one....

Cheap Japanese Ryoba Pull Saw
I wanted to get a Japanese type pull saw for woodwork. So I've only just started woodworking so cannot say how this fairs out to other brands and styles. What I can say is that it has a large, fairly comfortable, handle. Very plasticky but when you pay peanuts you don't expect to get some exotic wooden handle. The handle can be adjusted for angle but Ive had no need to do this. The blades are sharp on both sides. Even after my abuse they have remained sharp, so thats got to be a plus point. I've used this on soft wood and hard woods but in fairness mainly on beech dowel and dowl plugs. If like me you don't have the funds for better or you just don't know if you can warrant spending more then this is gonna be the Japanese saw for you.
