Super-long and highly efficient hose - compacts down when water is turned off and emptied
I’ve driven myself up the wall with my twisted, leaky excuse for a hose! I saw this one, and thought 100ft would not only water my garden, but be long enough to wash my car on the street too. It’s expanding, so doesn’t take up a lot of room when it is not ‘inflated’. It comes in a compact drawstring bag and includes a plastic wall hook to keep it off the ground when it’s not in use. (Useful for me as a metal hook is no good in my coastal garden). The hose is black and sort of gently ‘ribbled’. (I really didn’t want one of those ‘fussy, ruffled’ ones). The brass connectors are standard to British tap fittings but are not compatible with the ‘hoselock’ system so you couldn’t use one of those spouts but the one supplied does the job well. The spout came ready-fitted and has a variety of different flows to choose from – full, cone, mist, soak, shower, angle, centre, flat – for a gentle or more direct, concentrated flow. When the water is turned on, the hose starts ‘inflating’ and looks rather ‘snake-like. When you finish, turn the water off at the tap and keep the hose showering until it’s empty – and it will contract down to its compact size again. I feel it might weaken the hose to be left in its inflated state, unused, for too long so I make sure I empty it every use.The pressure on ‘ full’ was so strong that I‘ve washed my windows from the garden right up in my 2nd storey roof extension - not to window cleaner standards, but I’ve got the bird mess off! I chose ‘mist’ to water the flowers and new bedding and had to turn the pressure down low – it gets my garden done in a flash.Highly recommended.

Creepy but wow!
Prefect. When you turn the tap on, it stretches out like a creepy snake but that is amazing as it gets longer and longer. Still very lightweight when it is filled with water. So easy to move about without having to pull or get caught on things. Easy sliding. Tip: when finished watering your plants and have a wee bit more to do such as hanging baskets, turn the tap off if it is near you and empty the water out. The hose will reduce it size. When I turned the tap off, I empty the water from the hose in the watering can rather than wasting water down the drain. I'm for one does not leave the tap on when not using the hose. No leakage and the tap fittings was easy to put on. Very happy, I purchased black as a modern colour. Best hose I ever got!! The spray are very strong, depend on the type of water pressure you have but mine is strong.

stows away really easily, it tool me a moment to work out ...
Ok, the product is fab, stows away really easily, it tool me a moment to work out how to attach the brass fixings to all my bits but this is done by pulling the brass back on itself then attaching then releasing and its attached. My only issue with this hose is that once you have turned off the tap, the hose has to empty itself entirely of the water within it, you may get wet!As long as you know .... sons use it with freshly done hair.

Nozzle sprang apart
This hose has served us perfectly throughout the heatwave. Strong brass fixtures and efficient multi-task nozzle. The best hose we have ever had.But the day the heatwave ended, the nozzle sprang off the hose as soon as the water got to it and the fixing fell apart so it could not be re-attached. Such a pity.I got Amazon Customer services though, who organised a pick-up, return and refund immediately. Well done Amazon.

This has been out before and sent back by someone
There wasn't a problem with the product other than there were items missing from the packaging, ie: I believe one of the brass fittings was missing. It looked as if someone had tried to put the wrong fitting and was unable to remove it. The hanging bracket was missing. It wasn't in its own box it was in an amazon box. I had recently received a hosepipe which was in its own box within the amazon box. I had to return it as I ordered the wrong length. No definitely not happy with this.

These were reasonably good quality but unfortunately did not stand the test of ...
I first came across these at the Ideal Home Exhibition, where I bought two x 50' versions. These were reasonably good quality but unfortunately did not stand the test of time. I then bought a cheap 100' version which lasted 5 minutes. This 100' one that I have just purchased came quickly and appears to be very good quality. The covering is much more substantial than previous versions, and the connections appear to be copper. I fitted it to my normal garden tap by screwing it on, and there are no leaks. Whilst it will no be used too much for a while, I will report back is there are any issues.

Rubbish connections
The connections to the handset on this hose fell apart after a few times it was used. The company sent me replacement connections and the same thing happened again - when I tried to tighten the small screw on the side it just sprung open - the spring and ball bearings fell out and it was impossible to fit them back in. The hose itself seems OK - I am using it without the hand spray.

Great hoses really handy and long.
This is our 2nd one they are great hoses, all brass fittings and expansion to 100ft is really handy, no kinks either, i was getting it tangled though but it was because I wasn't preparing myself properly, because it expands quickly you just need to lay it straight and no problems, i was just dropping the hose in a heap and then when I turned the water on it was tangling, so just take the extra time to lay it out.
