I chose this Vive Air Seat cushion,it may seem pricy, but worth it, because of the relief it can give to various elements of skeletal structure. I has proved to be of worth even for the price as I suffer from worm pelvic joints and a nerve that appears to continually gets trapped when I am seated. Well this cushion has been a god send, I can sit without worrying and attempting to release trapped nerves, the air cushion has more than compensated and gives me much relief and comfort when seated. For me it is the purrfect solution

We don’t have experience with other makes of this type of cushion (so I can’t really say whether it’s durable etc; it seems well made so far), but have been happy with this. My mum in law is very underweight and recovering from a hip break. She has been very uncomfortable sitting and lying. We got this (and coincidentally an air mattress from the same company). Had a quick try before she used it and thought it was good. The proof though was my mum in law, who, whilst still not well and often not noticing much, did comment unprompted about how she was more comfortable in the chair. Good enough for me for now.

Sadly, this did not work for me and did not relieve my nerve pain. It is an imitation Roho cushion in that it has air cells, which are flatter when compare to a Roho (the Roho also did not work for me). You pump up the cushion with an air pump, inserted into a valve which you have to twist. Opening the valve is easy, just make sure not to twist it closed too tightly. This product may or may not work for you.

Airlines have notoriously been cutting costs and weight everywhere they can in their planes; the seat cushions on many are barely more than a board at this point. That's not great when you're jumping back and forth over the atlantic, so I ordered up a number of cushions, including the purple / pink silicone types, ones made out of high density foam (ie. wheelchair cushions), and a few other inflatables like this. This unit was probably the priciest option I tried (the brand name silicone ones are more expensive, but the generic versions were what I tried b/c they're just as good.) It still won hands down due to being the right combination of lightweight, space friendly, durable, and of course comfortable. Admittedly, if I weren't constrained, the high density foam or possibly even latex would've won (there's a reason these are used in office chairs and beds) but those options were simply too bulky. The pink / purple silicone were nice enough to sit on, but they get heavy when you get them in a 2" or so height, which means they were out. The other inflatables simply weren't designed as well, didn't have the same quality of inflating system or closure, and weren't as tall. As usual, the 'pro-tip' about looking for the medical or industrial grade product worked out. This is essentially a clone of a much more expensive wheelchair cushion, and you can see the difference when you compare it to the travel-specific type products. I strongly recommend this product.

Is a great product for people that get bottom sores from sitting or laying too long. Air cushions seem to be the recommended product for this issue. You can adjust how hard or soft you need it. Comes with a small air pump that fits into a stainless steel valve that works awesome. Easily to top up cushion. Highly recommend.

This cushion is really good but the photo is VERY deceptive. It is simply not as thick as depicted in the photo. Arguably its misleading. That said, the cushion is still fairly comfortable.
