Marc one of my favourite artists, here alongside his paintings, his own thoughts and words. Although his painting the Fate of Animals or Animals Destiny reflects his thoughts that developed gradually in his work, that humans have become detached from nature from which they come and lose sight that we too are animals. Perhaps in his painting the Fate of Animals he foresaw the destruction of man although he thought through war, however he would perhaps have foresaw that we are destroying ourselves through the destruction of nature. We have become alienated from ourselves. Otto Dix came to think something similar.

Very good reference book, met my needs.
