Unbreakable as described

I hoped to be buying polycarbonate glasses that matched the mental image I had gotten from reading the product description and all the positive reviews but they fall short, or perhaps I have too vivid an imagination. First impressions upon opening the box was how poorly they were packaged (it was an Amazon box which had more than item) as each item was stacked inside another, so what arrived was a stack of 6 with nothing separating the items from each other - so as a result of storage and/or transport, 5 of the 6 have a fine circular line, a mark come scratch, where the brim/lip of the glass below rested against the side of the one inserted into it, approx 30mm from the top. Being the sort of material it is, it will not be easy to remove the marks. I take the view that over time the items will gather more marks so it'll not matter too much BUT when buying anything 'new' I like it to be me that causes any damage, no matter how light. Next gripe is the 'pint' capacity. I hadn't realised that the items are 1 pint when filled to the absolute brim - so it looks like a crafty slurp is required before finally filling up and serving or only serving flat beer initially drunk through a straw placed on the beer surface. Final Meldrew moment - the items feel very light in hand when compared to a couple of older vessels I purloined years ago, hardly a reason not to purchase, it's just an observation.

I had hoped these would feel more like glass, but they feel like a plastic cup & basically that's what they are. They look good, clear, light, clean up well in the dish washer. Quite reassuring used outside, bbq, a party or with kids etc almost certainly not going to break with an accidental knock etc and certainly more premium than a disposable plastic cup, but don't expect to impress any guests at the dinner table as you give them a plastic cup.

Seit 1 Saison jetzt im Einsatz. Absolut prima für Bier, Weizen, Saftschorle, egal. Es ist halt ein Becher :) Spülmaschinenfest, auch easy von Hand zu spülen. Kratzer kommen mit der Zeit, halten sich aber im Rahmen.

Je cherchais des verres incassables, notamment pour se désaltérer dans notre jacuzzi, un verre brisé peut représenter une véritable galère à ramasser et nettoyer (les bris de verre pouvant passer dans les tuyaux, etc). Ceux là sont parfaits, imitent bien le verre, et sont très résistants (lâché à 2m de hauteur sur un sol dur, aucun problème). Pour le moment, ils passent sans problème à la machine à laver et ne semblent pas en souffrir.

Estos vasos son de poco espesor, delgados como los vasos de plástico ordinarios por lo que la sensación que te dan es de cosa barata. Definitivamente no es irrompible. Por este precio mejor ir a un bazar chino. No valen la pena!
