Standard Piccino (Black)

This will be my third domestic espresso machine and I got this specifically because it has two boilers (allowing espresso extraction and milk frothing simultaneously), it was a good price and made in the UK. Having had it for just over a month I can safely say what a great machine this is. It is the first time I've actually been able to make better coffee than I can get in the high street. The benefit of the twin boiler means I haven't yet run out of steam and can make copious amounts of frothed milk and all this whilst the espresso shots are being dispensed! My wife (a confirmed tea lover) has even raved about the results so an absolute bonus there!I can even give Fracino a pat on the back as the original machine arrived without instructions from the supplier but a 2-minute phone call to the manufacturer resulted in a full PDF version arriving in my inbox in minutes - great service.

After the first hiccup the machine is now working very well

Fantastic espresso machine, makes superb coffee in the right hands. As with most machines of this level, you do need to know what you're doing to get a good espresso every time. Being able to pull an espresso shot at the same time as steaming milk was important for me, and usually something you have to pay a lot more for. Thoroughly recommend.One small downfall, my drip tray doesn't fit snugly on the machine - it always sticks out a bit. I think it came like this but has worsened over time (I think the boiling water hitting it at the back has caused it to expand). I totally believe if I wasn't so lazy I could have had it replaced by Fracino for no charge as they have great customer service, but I guess it hasn't bothered me enough to get round to doing yet!
