ChalkPro Paint&Wax Brush - Small

Ok, I'm new to chalk painting, not to painting however so as I've learned thru experience, it's best to do lots of research on a new skill before jumping in. I poured over all sorts of blogs and videos about chalk painting before starting on a project. One of the issues was the brushes, to make a huge investment of $50 plus on a brush was just crazy, even for me, so I decided to do 'Amazon search' and this little brush came up.I used it to wax a chalk painted desk and I was very, very pleasantly surprised with the results, although it shed a few bristles initially, it stop shedding and performed beautifully. I don't know what the $50 plus brush can do, but for $14 something I'm more than happy with this one. It also cleaned up great so I intend to use for many more projects in the near future.

This was my first time to use this type of brush. It worked great with the chalk based paint. It had great coverage and it surprised me how fast I was able to complete a whole set of cabinets. It did not lose one bristle and cleaned up easily with paint thinner so I can use it again. Many times my paint brushes have to be thrown away after one use. I would definitely recommend getting this brush if you are going to be using a chalk-based paint. It really makes a difference to use the right tool for the job!

liked th first one i purchased so much, i bought a second. both lost a few bristles at first but nothing that any good brush doesnt do. comfortable handle.

The brush loses too many bristles while painting.

LLove love love this brush-much simplier to use than the cheapies at the big hardware stores. How have I not known of these brushes before??
