A great continuation
A lot of questions are answered in this volume, and a lot of new questions are raised, so in a way we don't get that far in this volume. This is about the war at Cross Academy, and there are a lot of great scenes, especially the fight with Rido. The chemistry between Yuki and Kaname is great, with Yuki showing that she is no porcelain doll that needs to be locked up in a room. Also, if you have already watched the anime, you can still benefit from reading this, since it explains several things better than the show.Since we don't get too far (considering the long wait) I would have given it four stars, but the last couple of pages after the main story made it worth five.A good read, cannot wait for the next!

BEST VOLUME YET
This is by far the best and most intense volume of Vampire Knight to be released so far. I'll try not to write to much that will give anything away. It is almost action all the way through, but don't let that fool you into thinking that the plot gets left behind. Sometimes I have to go back to previous volumes, so I can remember how they ended, but I'm pretty sure that won't be necessary with this volume as it has the best cliffhanger of any of the volumes so far and has left me eager for the next volume. The only negative thing that I have to say about this volume is that the sidebar comments by the author are not quite as interesting as usual, but apart from that like I said the best volume so far and I like the direction this volume seems to be taking the series in.
