Wanway E14 SES Small Screw to GU10 LED Light Lamp Bulb Socket Adapter Converter

When I tried to use this adapter it did not work, asked for return label, found out it's going back to China, seems ridicules to pay more in postage than the initial cost of the item.

Looked a well made adapter but on screwing it in I found it didn't work. So I took it apart and electrically tested it - all OK. I think the problem with these adaptors is that some may have a slightly smaller diameter screw thread - so if you find your''s doesn't work, it's well worth slightly bending out the side conductor in the socket, I did and it now works fine.

I ordered two small and two large ES converters the large ones are fine (so far) neither of the small ones works. The contact at the base of the screw is flat and not domed as illustrated so i’m guessing no contact when screwed in. I know they were only pence each but even so, they might have tried a bit harder. Caveat emptor I guess.

This is good value, well made, came faster than expected but it has a wide shoulder and will not fit the older E14 sockets in my flat. For anything new, it works very well.

Very useful items for very good price provided by very helpful people. My recommendation order double of what you need and don't loose time on the shipment. I ordered three, none of them worked, they immediately sent a new set of three, again (after 20 days on the journey) only two of them worked. Still worth paying for all.

These don’t even warrant 1 star but have to put something. Ordered 4. 1 wrong item sent and the other 3 do not work. Requested a full refund. The quality is also very very poor

I have given 4 stars because one of the units was short circuit and tripped the circuit breaker rest ok I suppose you get what you pay for
