Actually works very well for for the price and gets the job done
Actually works really well after wrestling with adjusting to the right placing, not very easy to use and got to adjust the tool to the right spot before tightening the bearings into place due to unstable build quality, I was actually thinking it would work really well if you have a second person holding the tool while tightening to adjust, there was a moment when one of the bearings installed crooked and was kind of a pain to adjust the tool to push the bearings into place with just my two hands, but alot more safe than banging the bottom bracket with a wooden block and a mallet/hammer... I used it to install 22mm sealed bottom bracket bearings on my Cult Too Short BMX frame and it got the job done... Actually a handy tool for my bike tool box if I need to install bottom bracket bearings on other bike frames.

Works well for the home mechanic who needs one of these once in a blue moon.
It's a decent budget alternative to the standard bike shop grade headset presses, but it does have it's limitations. It doesn't have the drifts that come with the more expensive presses, so you've got to be more careful ensuring that everything is properly aligned. It's a lot cheaper though, so you've got to weigh the pros and cons. If I were installing headsets with any sort of regularity, I'd go ahead and spend the money on a Park Tool (or equivalent). If I were doing them here and there, the expense of this one is a lot easier to justify.

Works like a charm!
I just replaced the headset cups on my Giant Glory DH bike and this tool made it so easy. For the price I would highly recommend. Now keep in mind this tool is not perfect, but I was able to pop in the headset cups with ease. My bike has a tapered headset with the bottom cup being large. The included round washers was not wide enough to cover the head cup so I had to use a BB tool that I had laying around to instal the top cup. The rod is plenty long enough that inhad no issues. It could be shorter and anyone could cut down to make it quicker to remove the nuts for your bike.

It works
It took two tries to get it. The first came incomplete, missing the rod and bolts. The rod was too short for my bike. I extended it with hardware from Home Depot. You have to be very careful setting it up and tightening it to be certain the inserts go in straight. This is the most inexpensive tool I could find and it does work. You could fashion something similar on your own but without the bearing.

Well machined tool but needs longer threaded rod
Really fantastic and simple tool. Well designed and fits headset cups well. Smoothly presses headset cups in with no sweat. One forewarning: check your head-tube length and make sure to include headset stack height. The maximum this tool will open to is 180mm total (if you take off the ball bearing ring and the third cup disc). That 180mm will include headset dimension. That said, you can press in one cup at a time this way.

Soft metal
Ok so when I opened the package I thought, that is a nice design with the bearings and all, this should go smooth. Well it did until I tried to take it apart after using it. It wouldn't loosen, I thought I was losing my mind, but no matter how hard I wrenched it wouldn't loosen, I think what happened was that the main bolt thread must be too soft and ended up binding the nuts. I was able to loosen it just enough that I could get a hacksaw between the cup and the press and was able to cut the bolt. It was very frustrating, and now if I want to use it again I have to go out and buy the main bolt and nuts. If I were to have the need to have to repress the steering shaft cups again, I would just go to Lowes and buy a couple large washers and a long threaded bolt and a couple of nuts, would be cheaper and probably wouldn't bind. I would not recommend this for the reasons I stated above.

Great tool if used properly.
This is a great tool if you use it properly. The only instructions are found in the photos on the Amazon ad. The trick is to NOT try to press both cups at the same time, if you do this they will go in sideways and give you a very hard time but, if you press one cup at a time this works beautifully. Well worth the price.

Easy bottom bracket swap!
I bought this to change the bottom bracket in my Trek Stache, worked great! just make sure to center the tool on the middle of the bottom bracket cups and begin tightening, it pressed them both in perfectly, great price, and does a great job, I'm completely happy with it.
