Crazy solid/heavy tactical cane
I didn't believe the reviews here that stated that this is SOLID aluminum, I was sure it had to be hollow like my other aluminum tactical cane. It is actually solid, and very heavy. At least 2.5 pounds. It is okay for walking, and is slower to strike with because of the weight. This would easily break bone with even a nominal strike. Looks pretty cool, too. It is thinner than .75 inches, perhaps a half inch. I may purchase another. Wish they offered it in a hollow version for faster spinning and striking. This is over the top in the best way...

Watch out for what you wish for
This is exactly as described and for a heavier guy like me, very stable to assist getting up without the wiggles that often accompany adjustable canes. The caution I voice is for using extra care when stowing in your car or coming in your door or risk dropping it on ceramic floor tiles-it will break just about anything it hits. That said, it is a tremendous asset against loose dogs or threats you may encounter walking. I would find a nice big yard or park to practice handling it-and needless to say, you do need quite a bit of upper body strength to wield this effectively. It swings nicely while walking; not so heavy as to impede your momentum. I utilize cork bicycle cushioned tape on the handle as being solid metal, can get rather chilly on cold days. A definite asset but could be dangerous to your car windows, glass doors or other expensive to replace items. I would strongly recommend not having anywhere near children. Also, you’ll immediately want to replace the tip with a longer lasting one or one which gives a bit more ground coverage. Stay safe.

A hefty brute!
This is one brute of a cane! It weighs in at around a pound and a half. As the other reviews mention, you need to be careful where you place the cane. It can break what it falls on. The shaft is solid aluminum and cuts easily with a hacksaw. The handle comes loose very easily. Five minutes and some JB Weld and that problem will go away. Shipping from India takes about two weeks. This cane is worth every penny!

Not up to par
This cane is very handsome. It’s got clean lines and plenty of heft. The problem? The handle fits the shaft very loosely. After walking 100 feet or so, the shaft becomes very wobbly. After 200, it’s uncontrollable. This does NOT qualify as a tactical cane.Am I supposed to use Crazy Glu ?

It's beautiful.
It is both lighter than I expected and stronger than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase.

Sturdy & reliable
I have had other canes that were light and easy to carry. The problem is, but I’m not using them, I prop them up somewhere, and they inevitably fall.I have had this one a few weeks, and as with the others, it has fallen over, or been dropped. It is much more likely to break what it falls on. This Cane is strong,& sturdy. It is heavier than my previous canes, but I don’t find that a problem. I never have to worry if it’s going to bend, or collapse.

Dual purpose
Acts as a cane and a formidable weapon! Comes in two pieces: handle and shaft. Once screwed on, the handle is a bit loose. Had to add gorilla super glue to make it sturdy. Other than that, I love it. Not too heavy and not too light. I just wish it came in one piece.

Lightweight?? Why would you want a lightweight tactical cane?!?
It has a good heft to it. When you don't get a stripped handle it links on quite nice and tight to the stick portion. Certainly could do as advertised. Just a mite slow on getting to me. Otherwise a very nice stick, and pretty much the only one like it on Amazon.
