Removes easy with a 90 degree turn on the key, install great once the key is removed. Gives me peace of mind for my 2021 ProMaster 2500 RV.

GENUINE DODGE RAM GAS CAPGood OEM type gas cap. My husband's expensive RAM truck sits outside and this provides the security it needs.The cap fits and works great. The only issue he has is that the key is a bit difficult to put into the cap. He has marked the key to show the proper position to put it into the lock. This helps avoid the five minutes it was taking him to unlock it at the gas station. This seems to be a very common problem with these caps.Good thing he only buy gas every two to three weeks!However, the cap is secure when locked and thwarts theft.

i still have them but somehow lost the keys , but it would throw an error code, and the auto zone guy said it does not seal correctly for my vechicle. With the proce of gas and state of the world, I need my tank locked, so am just going to get the outside keyed, as this was the 2econd one i tried with this truck, unsure why I can not. But I had another I used for years with my 19 1500 Ram, and loved it, stopped someone as they tried but it is a great deterrant
