The lamp is nice, but way too complicated to use. A three-way switch to select off, permanently on, or on after touch. That's fine. But in permanently on mode it's not just switching on when you set the switch into that mode, you also have to find a tiny black button on a structured surface to press it to switch the lamp on and pick your preferred colour mode. Unfortunately the lamp won't remember which one you prefer. And then you need to keep that button pressed to adjust brightness. Again, previous settings not remembered. And finally, while this lamp looks like *a* moon, it's certainly not *the* moon. It's just a random pattern of craters, not the actual representation of the moon's surface that I had hoped for, with recognizable features such as the maria on one side, or crater Tycho with its characteristic huge streaks of ejecta.

This wasn’t quite as good quality as I expected, and the battery life is poor. However when using it plugged in it works well as a gimmicky night light and actually looks very sweet. Very popular with an 8 year old girl- and that’s what matters most!I am generally happy with it, all round it’s not bad value for money.

Nice night light both for children or as a low bedroom light for adults.

Loved it! The only downside is it’s REALLY small, wasn’t expecting it to be that small from the photos

Bought as gift for my mum. Went down very well! Really nice quality. touch sensor works well. Great design. Good size.

Son and Grandson equally impressed with their moon lamps. :-D
