These solar lanterns ended up being the perfect finishing touch for our backyard palapa setup. During the day they look simple and decorative, but at night they give off such a warm cozy glow that the whole space feels calm, relaxing, and honestly a little magical. We paired them with solar string lights, Adirondack chairs, and shade cloth, and now our evenings usually involve sitting outside with cocktails watching the sunset while the dogs stretch out underneath like they personally pay the property taxes. I also love that they’re solar powered because apparently I’ve reached the stage of life where avoiding extension cords feels wildly exciting. They charge well, turn on automatically, and have handled wind and weather beautifully so far. The flickering glow looks much more expensive than I expected and adds such a cozy atmosphere without being too bright or flashy. One of those little purchases that somehow made the whole backyard feel finished. Absolutely love them.

The lights burn all night, so they work very nice for our side patio. We actually have them on our grill, so they light up the whole area . Very happy with them

These look great and if they get a few hours of sun during the day, they don't seem to have a problem lasting all night as far as the recharging, even through the wintertime. They're the perfect brightness and the flame effect is spot on. I own about 16 of these now because the first set of four is going on a year old now and look the same as the day I bought them, durable and long lasting from my experience and they are out in the sun in all manner of weather.

I love these so much. Well made and the flicker is very realistic. The lights last all night and into the morning. Easy installation. They look so beautiful flickering in my back yard. They are just as bright as a normal candle would be. It’s the perfect outdoor ambiance that I was looking for.

I saw someone post that they’d bought these lanterns in 2025 and again in 2026 and the 2026 lanterns have obvious LED dots for the ‘flame’ compared to the 2025 ones that look much more like flames. Of course, I saw that after I bought these, and it’s very true. The LED pulsating dots are very very obvious. They still look nice - the size is good and they’re not too heavy or too light. I like that the lanterns have the handle and a clip on a ring attached to the handle, so I can hang them off my (very cheap) stake/holders, but also clip them to the metal for extra insurance. If you take a video, it might take a second to see/focus on the dots - I had that happen 50% of the videos I took. In person, it is very visible. In all honesty, they’ve only been in use for a day. I plan to leave them up for my Halloween decorations, despite the dots. I’ll update later for battery life, etc. I appreciate that they’re solar-powered! So many other of my decorations have regular batteries or I’ve got extension cords all over the lawn.

I purchased these two years ago, and they have been outside every single day since I got them (in northern Michigan winter) and that are STILL going strong. I absolutely love them, and get compliments on them all the time. I can recommend these enough if you’re looking for a solar lantern.
