It never worked the way I wanted it to.
I purchased this product for my Lenovo laptop which does not have an ethernet port. The day it arrived I plugged it in and tested the USB ports, it's USB hub functionality is fine, I haven't tried sending data across it yet, and I likely never will, as the laptop has enough usb ports for my needs usually, the thing I really wanted this for was to be able to plug my laptop in to a wired connection. It never worked for me. It didn't work from the first moment I plugged it in. I assumed it was a driver thing so I didn't immediately think it was bad. Now it has been months and I have gotten to the point where I'm finally accepting that this thing is never going to work. According to other reviews, some people have had success, but I wouldn't buy this product. Instead, spend a little bit more money on a respectable name brand product that will last a long time and have good customer service. I've learned my lesson.

cheap but good
It's as good as other hubs but only cost one third of them. I have been using it for half month and so far there is no problem.
