MacBook Pro mid 2012
This ram memory worked perfectly for my MacBook Pro 15” mid 2012. My computer was bogged down and very slow. Apple said that the max ram I could put in this computer was 8GB total but both of these gave me 16GB. My computer is lightning fast compared to my 4GB I had before. Highly recommend if your computer was like mine.

Wow! Lightning speed with just a few minutes install time.
I read the reviews and hoped I could improve the performance of my late 2013 27 inch iMac that came with 8GB of DDRAM. With Mail and Chrome open the computer ground so slow, taking forever to open new tabs in Chrome. I kept my apps open to a minimum, kept my tabs to a minimum and I frequently shut down the computer in the forlorn hope of clearing any cache and speeding things up. I was even considering buying a new 2022 model but was afraid/hopeful that the 27 inch will be updated to the new format that the 24 in launched with in 2021. After receiving the RAM cards it took about 2 mins to pop the back chamber and install the new cards to bring me up to 16Gb of DDRAM. and....Wow! My machine is now lightning fast at opening Chrome tabs and I have no problem with having multiple apps open at once. I am not a heavy video editor or computational user, just basic business type stuff (email and Web). These cards have turned my 2013 iMac into as fast as my 2022 MacBook Pro! Great investment.

Small issue with first pair but immediately replaced.
Install and packaging are pretty much the same no matter what RAM you buy so ... it was packed right. It installed about as easily as anything on a Mac.I upgraded a late 2012 Mac Mini with 8 GB and a platter drive to 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. After the last OS update, the machine slowed to a crawl and was virtually worthless - even for just using it to browse and read messages without picking up my phone. Now it's responsive - at least as good as 4 years and a few OS updates ago if not a bit faster than even then.Upgrading the RAM and drive took about 1/2 an hour (if you have the tools you need and are used to working on Mac Mini's or at least laptops - otherwise budget an hour) No major issues though I did damage the heat shield but it's working fine and I figured $100 in RAM and a drive to extend it a year or two is fine since it's my Fourth PC on my desk and I just use it for non-work chatting and browsing.Totally happy (even impressed) by how much better it boots and runs. The only complaint - it takes nearly 3 days to get the RAM and the first set had a bad DIMM so I had to return it so I had to wait a week after I'd upgraded the drive to get working RAM but the return process was easy and they shipped the replacement before the defective one even got to UPS.For upgrading an 8-year-old spare PC it's totally worth it. If I was trying to upgrade a new machine (if you even can) I might stick with higher performance / better-known RAM like OWC, Kingston or Crucial but for the value, this was way worth it.Sadly, this is probably the last time I can pull the RAM and drive swap on an older machine as my newer ones aren't really field servicable.

Works great in my 2012 MacBook Pro
With RAM, it works or it doesn’t. This works perfectly in my 2012 MacBooks Pro. Won’t work in later years with soldered RAM so check compatibility I’ve bought this brand before and have never had a problem. Highly recommended!

Easy to use and works well
Works well if you can add storage to your old computer. Trouble is the new computers you can’t upgrade. Built In obsolescence.
