Easy to install, used a 1 1/8" hole saw. Did end up making some plastic washers that where oversized to help support the thin pool side material. Otherwise, they worked great, and make it much easier to empty and clean the dog's pool.

Use plumber's putty instead of the gaskets provided. The ones provided are too soft and will leak the entire time until you tighten them up until they slip off. I believe this is a 1 - 1/8 inch hole. I only had 1 inch and finished with a file. Fits American garden hose (seen the one that doesn't fit our hose)

I got this for the plastic swimming pool I have for our ducks it makes the regular cleaning much easier and has not leaked or rusted yet. I feel this is pretty well made so we will see with our Michigan winters. I wish it came with extra rubber gaskets just in case. I also got the hose which it attached nicely so I don't even need to go into their pen to empty. So far would buy again if needed.

It fit perfectly with no leaks.

The brass components are of high quality, but the rubber washers/gaskets squeeze right outside of them with the slightest amount of pressure, preventing the brass from being able to be tightened enough to make a seal.

Works great for putting in 250 gallon totes. Use the inside threads to pull it into place with a threaded pipe.
