Bought this as a gift for my mother. The compartments inside fit seed packets perfectly. Lots of room for tools, jars, and various gardening things that may end up in there. Sturdy box that is both decorative and functional.

Lots of room for different types of seeds, holds a lot of packets, scissors, twine, labels, lists and maps…sturdy latches, lid shuts tightly and looks great!

Well packaged for transit. This container is sturdy and attractive and the latches are smooth as silk. It was not cheap, but I believe the construction makes it a good value. I have 89 commercial packets of seeds in mine and there's plenty of room remaining. I recommend this for anyone trying to organize and protect their garden seeds.

I saw this seed box had 4 different compartments, of differing sizes. This works really well, as seed packets from different origins are not all the same size. It had enough room for everything, and even extra to hold the little envelopes I am using to save seeds for friends and family.As others have noted, there’s no handle on the lid - just on the sides. Personally, I think this is a great idea, because if you had a top handle but didn’t realize the lid was not latched down, the whole box would open and spill the contents.I organized mine with flowers in one compartment, and food in another. I had room to put empty envelopes in the back, so I could make a list of seeds I need to replace for next year.

Sturdy and very cute.

This is a very practical and attractive box to store and protect all my seeds in one convenient place. No insects or mice can get at the seeds in storage. The box is very well made, and the latches work smoothly and easily.

I ordered 3 of these metal seed boxes. Arrived early. Shipping was really fast. Packaging was excellent! They each came in a bubble wrap sleeve. Taped really well. You can tell these were hand packaged with care. Then placed in a large amazon box with my other items. The spacing inside is perfect for regular seed packages, and for home seed saving envelopes. There are 3 sectioned compartments in the front half of the box and the back half is an elongated area that can be used for seed packets as well as other seed containers. The front latches are great. The size is perfect. The only two things I would have issue with is they’re a little pricey. But this is a quality item, I was surprised. And the handles are on the sides of the box. I wish they installed a recessed handle on top of the box. And it would be nice if they came in different colours but these are not issues that would prevent me from giving them 5 stars. I also purchased home seed saving packets that fit perfectly into the box. As well as coloured index cards that fit perfectly for organizing seed packets (haven’t used them yet), and labels for the top of the index cards. All in all, I love these seed boxes and I recommend them to any gardener. (Bic pen in pics is to compare size.)
