Low sodium helper
My cardiologist recently advised me to go on a low-sodium diet. I have done so, and Benson's Table Tasty salt substitute has been a Godsend. I've tried lots of salt substitutes, and this is the one that I use every day. I wish more local stores carried the product, but ordering through Amazon has been a marvelous substitute. Great product!

Definitely salty
Doesn’t mimic salt entirely but its definitely salty tasting so be careful to not use too much at first. It’s easy to over salt!Also it has a bouillon flavor which may not go well on some things.

Good Salt Substitute
Potassium-chloride isn't as tasty as sodium-chloride, but I need to minimize sodium in my diet. I often mix it with other no-sodium spices. I use it for low-fat beef, beans/rice, corn on the cob, boiled potatoes, etc. Also, most Americans are far out of wack with their potassium/sodium balance, and this helps with that also. It shakes out somewhat fast and unevenly, but you need to apply more than you would with salt to add much flavor.

my heart diet
works very well in my low sodium diet. it's not very noticeable if used in cooking, but I find it makes a big difference at the table, used like a salt shaker to get some flavor in my food

Love this seasoning! I have CKD, and need to really watch my sodium intake so eliminating as much salt from my diet was recommended by my nutritionist. This seasoning is so flavorful and versatile. I use it everyday!

Great Taste
As stated this adds a salt like taste to foods. Now I have found it is not as strong as salt in the flavor. In other words you need more of this to flavor the food. But dang even just a little is better on many things than no salt at all. I make a lot of soups with 0 salt in them due to having one Kidney. And despite the spices and curries and other things they always never quite tasted right. This though has added punch to the flavor and makes it more enjoyable to eat (and easier to stay at under 1000 mg of sodium per day).
