Mxl Industries Scratch Resistant Flip Shield

Absolutely wonderful, no need to wear sun glasses, able to see clearly, good coverage from wind and bugs.

I like the design but there is no ratchet type of headband to attach it to. I don't believe I saw that in the description. Other than that I like it. I wanted the headband to in order to wear it.

I love this shield. I use it with a "Raider" half helmet. I use it with sunglasses during the day, and nothing at night, so I don't have to carry around a pair of clear goggles for night riding. Keeps the bugs out of the face and adds an extra layer of protection. Easy to flip up at stoplights and good to about 30 mph before you need to flip it down.This model is superior to others I've tried. Unlike others, the latch is secure and it doesn't rattle in the wind, at least on my helmet. It's worth the few extra bucks for this scratch resistant version, as it does seem to avoid scratches and dings better than the non-treated version from my not-very-careful handling of it.

It was tough to put on my helmet, and also fogs up, but aside from that it works great.

This faceshield is wonderful. It turns any helmet with three snaps on the front into a shield that flips down. I have both the clear shield and the smoke shield and highly recommend them. I live in Arizona where we encounter dust storms frequently and I wanted something to be able to flip down to keep the dust out of my eyes and mouth. This face shield does that and offers protection from UV rays as well.

I would not recommend this shield!The first one I received was scratched. Amazon was great about replacing it but the replacement is distorted!I also don't love how long/low the black part(beak) is. It limits my view.Generally I love amazon and their products but this was a miss for me.
