Solved a tricky problem
I used these on towel radiator bars to prevent direct contact with a pivoting glass shower screen. After softening in boiling water the bumpers did stretch, but not easily. I think it's best to stretch them hot. They seemed to get less stretchy after 5 minutes or so.
