Games Workshop Renegades: Harrowmaster

Awesome characters, awesome read. I guess I get some of the criticism, but overall, it's a great book. Enjoyed it as much as say, Iron Snakes? But it is different, and hope we get the next part.

Another story that I enjoyed from Michael Brooks.I now seek out his books in particular

I couldn't even make it 40 pages into this one because the blatant plot armour was too much to bear. The Alpha Legion are supposed to be intelligent and cunning but Mike Brooks just writes everyone else as stupid to try and make the Alpha Legion seem smart. I can't even tell you how it ends but I can assume it's a pointless waste of a novel.

A cracking story Alpha Legion vs. Inquisition story, with lots of twists and wheels within wheels.Mike Brooks doesn't quite have the easy fluency of Dan Abnett, but his world-building is first rate, and the interactions between characters were fun, particularly between Solomon and Tulava, as well as the two bickering Inquisitors.If you're looking for what's going on with the Alpha Legion in the Indomitus Era, this one's definitely for you.
