Navy Blue Grandad Collarless Shirt Cotton

I bought this more or less knowing what it would be like. The neck size is fine, the sleeve length conveniently short for a home leisure/ DIY shirt but the body of the shirt is voluminous, hence the reference to Blacks of Greenock who were originally tent makers.The material is thick, coarse and robust so is definitely not for more social/semi formal wear.One tip is to not let the shirt dry completely after washing before you iron it, it is impossible to iron well if bone dry, even with a good steam iron.Still, as I said, I more or less knew what I would be getting, I already have a white one, and it suits my purposes completely which is why I give it 4 stars

Very nice thick material, VERY awkward sizing. The only way to find your size really is to order and try them on. I am a 44-46 inch chest i ordered one of these in XL and one in XXL. The XL fits more 'fitted' but the arms are only just long enough and the neck is small. The XXL is long enough in the arms, the neck is ok, but it has loose fitting around the chest. My advice? If you're 44-46 chest and tall go for the XXL. If you're 44-46 chest and shorter go for the XL.

very good well made shirts,but they do come a tad smaller,(only a little).i'm a 52" chest and the xxl is slightly fitted,would be more suited to a 48 or 50" chest.go for the next size up and you won't go far wrong,these shirts look better slightly baggy than fitted for a more relaxed look.good thick cotton and well made,the color should fade over time and make the shirt look even better.i think the price is good for the shirt.

Great shirt, good fit. The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is that the colour is somewhat more yellow than cream - lets hope it fades with washing!

This was not the weight fabric I was expecting. I have had 3 other shirts from the Collarless shirt Co. and they have all been in a reasonably thick cotton and wash and wash! This one is of a very lightweight fabric which has no label of any kind and is like a synthetic light linen, quite fine and does not crease at all, which is good but not what I thought I had ordered.

Chest size ok. But more fitted on waistline and is a little tight. Quality materials.

Positives+Love the collar,+Very good design.Negatives-Not iron-free.- Sleeve might be a bit tight fitting.- A bit too long from the back to leave untucked (especially with a blazer/jacket).

Nothing wrong with the shirt. I ordered a medium as I am 38 - 40 chest but found that it was too large and the seams joining the arms to the shoulders hung over my shoulders. The shirt in itself was fine but if you are intending to purchase get a size smaller than usual. Unfortunately there was not an exchange option when returning the shirt so I have not reordered.
