Bolster Pillow

I need something to separate my knees while sleeping on my side, or keep me from locking them stiff while on my back. I tend to toss and turn a lot in my sleep so I find the half moon style to be more useful. Recently took a trip to Europe, where my standard memory foam pillow would take up too much room in my bags, so I picked this up. It will forever remain with my travel sleep kit. It packs smaller than my 2xl t-shirt and inflates / deflates with a couple deep breaths.stayed inflated for a week without any major air loss, and can also easily be adjusted for maximum comfort. I have found such relief in having a pillow under my feet or a few to help elevate my legs at night. Most of the pillows I came across were what I envisioned getting, but I love the idea of being able to take this pillow with me wherever I go. So this specific pillow is exactly what I needed. I recently took it with me on a trip, and I loved being able to just fold it up in my suitcase and blow it up at the hotel. And I love how easy it is to get air into this pillow! I don't feel like I have to rush to blow it up, or needing a third hand to keep the air in. The process to blow is up is easy and quick and so great! This is definitely a repeatable purchase when needed. It helps me get quality sleep, and it comfortable, easy, compactable, and very affordable! A+

I thought this item was great. It was comfortable, adjustable, a great size. It really did the trick. I liked it so much I purchased a second one. Then, the day after I made the second purchase the first one lost its air. At first I thought I had somehow inadvertently opened the valve and created a leak, so I reinflated it, but the next day it was deflated again. I reinflated it several times trying to identify the leak but could never find it. Oh well, I had another one on the way. I received the second item and all was well, almost. This one sprung a leak too. Again I tried to identify the problem but never heard, saw or felt a leak. It just kept deflating. This pillow really does fulfill my need but I couldn't use it if it was deflated. Ive now purchased a different pillow. I'm waiting for it to arrive now. Hopefully it will do the job.

I can recommend this lightweight inflatable pillow to anyone with lower back pain. Leading up to a Philmont Trek, I was suffering from lower back pain. I was not looking forward to sleeping on a small inflatable pad and being up all night with back pain. I found I had some relief when I elevated my knees. I tried the USHMA Inflatable Bolster half-moon pillow, and it was a great help. For a camping trip, I can report this pillow fills up quickly, with about 5 or 6 breaths. The valve keeps air from escaping unless you push in the spring-loaded button. The pillow stayed fully inflated all night and was easy to collapse to a small size in the morning. Just squeeze out the air with your forearm while pressing in the air release valve. As far as size and weight, this pillow is exactly 0.3 pounds, and when fully compressed is about 4 inches across and 1.5 inches thick. It takes a up very little room in your pack. I can recommend this for camping, and I plan on taking this on business trips so I can sleep better on stiff hotel room mattresses.

I’ve had mine for about 2 ½ years using it about four times a year on cruise ships. Seems to have a relatively short life in my opinion. I didn’t have to use it every night I cruised. I can’t tell how it is losing air, so slow that using water and soap doesn’t identify where. Just friendly information.

So it only lasted 3 months. I bought and received it in November 2025. Started using it in January 2026 and it died on me in March. It stated to have a slow leak and I thought it had a whole in it so I filled it back up with air and did the water/soap trick to find the leak. So how was the air coming out you ask? It was coming out of the whole air fill hole with the plug on. I tried everything to stop the slow air leak but to no avail. It was good when it worked, with the right softness and firmness needed for under the legs, but only for 3 months. That’s what makes this really sad, because I didn’t really us it often enough for this to happen.
