Got this during prime days for half price and was worth every penny. Bought for use in our camper and used all day for the past couple of days. One thing is the ice does tend to melt a little while in basket but could have been due to our heat wave we are having. Makes ice quickly and made enough that we didn’t need to purchase any additional bags of ice for drinks. Very easy to use. Very quiet and only realize on when the ice drops and then dropped into basket for storage. Best purchase I’ve made in a while!

We absolutely love this Silonn ice maker. It made the first batch of ice within 6 minutes and hasn’t stopped. We bought this one because it makes the bullet ice (the kind with the hole in the middle) and it doesn’t melt as fast as the nugget ice, that our daughters have, but if your an ice cruncher like me it’s still very easy to crunch. We also like the front handle on the ice basket which makes it so handy when you have to fill the water, you can hold the basket in one hand keeping it over the bucket, so you don’t get water everywhere, and fill it up. It’s not large so it fits nicely on the counter, it’s approximately 9”wide, 11”deep, 11”high, and holds 40oz. of water. It also comes with an ice scooper which fits in the basket handle or you can hang the scoop on the hook that is provided to hang on the side of the machine and it has a water plug on the bottom so it can be emptied after the self clean mode is run. It has a handle that you attach so you can lift the ice maker to where you want it, which is very convenient. I checked a lot of reviews on here and google before deciding on this one and they were all very good. We highly recommend this ice maker.

The ice maker is definitely a solid machine and does what it says, it makes ice. Granted I do my ice making once a week and run it for a few hours since I have a couple trays to fill and then throw in the freezer. I have never ran this thing more than 12 hours and only use gallons of purified water. Otherwise it's consistent and does it's jobs. Super simple to operate and it saves me on buying ice or using cracked trays. A couple nit picks of mine is I feel like it doesn't make ice fast enough. I definitely have to run it for a while since the first couple rounds of ice are very small, so you could say the machine has to "warm up". It's definitely not going to be a quick process and you need some time to let it work. I also noticed how loud this thing can be since I have a small home and you can definitely hear it making ice. It's not too bothersome but I can see why people would get annoyed.

I absolutely love this ice maker. The option for two different ice sizes is great and makes it really versatile depending on what you’re using it for. It produces ice incredibly fast—about 9 to 10 pieces in roughly 9 minutes—which is a total game changer for our household. Since our refrigerator doesn’t make ice, this has been such a convenient upgrade. It’s reliable, easy to use, and keeps up with our daily needs without any issues. The only downside is having to clean it monthly with Clorox to prevent bacteria buildup, but that’s pretty standard for most ice makers and easy to manage with routine maintenance. Overall, this has been one of the most useful small appliances we’ve bought and I would definitely recommend it.

I already own the Silonn Bullet ice maker, but since I prefer nugget ice, I decided to purchase the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker. Comparing the two, the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker is my favorite. It makes full buckets of ice in half the time, and the ice is perfect for iced tea, water, just about any beverage. Although the ice is soft and chewy, it lasts all day, doesn’t melt away like I thought it would. The self-cleaning feature is an added bonus. I can completely fill the ice bin in my freezer within a few hours with this nugget ice maker, which lasts us 2-3 days. (The bullet ice maker was much slower because the ice was a lot larger.) Here’s a helpful tip for making lots of ice to keep in the freezer: the small countertop ice makers aren’t refrigerated, so the ice isn’t frozen, it’s a bit wet. So, I empty the bucket of ice into a ziplock bag and place it into my freezer until it’s good and solid, then whack it to loosen the frozen ice nuggets before emptying them into the ice bin. This way, they won’t stick together solid in the ice bin. With hot Summer weather fast approaching, we are really enjoying the nugget ice. I recommend the Silonn brand to anyone who needs a fast reliable ice maker, as I’ve been using this brand since April 2023 with no issues.

My DIL got this for her home since her fridge doesn’t have an ice maker. She also didn’t want to spend money on ice bags every week so she got one of these! She loves it! She says it’s easy to follow along with the directions. It makes small and large ice cube depending what you want. It also is very quiet, the only loud part she says is when it’s dumping the ice into the collection bin. So far, it hasn’t leaked for her and it’s fast at making ice too!

Going on 2 months since I bought this ice maker, and gotta say I'm pretty happy, the only down side I've seen is the tank is fairly small so we do have to refill the water pretty often, but definitely not a huge problem, we go thru a ton of ice, and it 100% keeps up with my family as long as the water is maintained, it's easy to clean, and works great, we haven't had any issues, ice size is great, it doesn't put out a ton of heat which is great, and it's a smaller ice machine so it doesnt take up a ton of space on my counter which I love and it's very quiet the only time is noisy a little is when the water is a little low but not loud enough to notice unless you're within a few feet. Happy with the purchase so far 😊 nicely done silon, I would definitely purchase again it was a great price, and a solid ice maker, also big plus, the entire top comes off, which is AMAZING FOR CLEANING I was worried about not being able to clean the top tank where the water comes down, but not an issue! Plus the colored lights definitely help tell us what's needed! Just a great little machine:)

It makes ice very quickly but it is very thin and hollow so will melt very quickly.

I used this ice maker according to the instructions. The ice melts before you can even use it! The ice is so small even on the large ice setting - see my photo. The seller offered a refund, I accepted, but they didn't give the refund and now don't reply to my messages. Don't waste your money on this item.
