Overview of the product, not enough to pass the exam or understand the product.
As a lapsed Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) who's actively taught NT4, 2000, XP (uggg Vista) 7 (uggg 8/8.1) and seen the varying efforts on MS Courseware and supplementary products such as this, I'll give my two pennies' worth. This product is nowhere near the quality or conciseness of the 070-680 Windows 7 Training Kit which had detailed information on deployment and support of that product. If you read the 872 pages of the 680 training kit, did the labs and the enclosed CD you would pass the exam with flying colours and actually learn something. Apologies to the Author of this product, I'm sure he had a brief and like most of the courseware MS now produce is insufficient to pass the exam, his spine probably shivers every time books the exam. In layman's terms: its providing the training and sending you off to war without the gun and body armour. Its an overview to make notes on, not rely on - I'd be purchasing some additional CBT Training, utilising Microsoft MVA and Measure Up to ensure success. Microsoft..please take note! Exam Takers..please use the comment section at the end of the exam if you agree with the above, you will find a similar theme running through 2012R2 and (I hope not) the upcoming Server 2016 certification path. Good luck

70-698 exam - this book has it covered!
The 70-698 is one of those exams that Microsoft have retrofitted in their certification pathway. Initially they had said that the 70-697 would be the one and only exam for Windows 10. The 70-697 is a good exam if your estate include Office 365 and Azure. But what if in this era of interoperability you want to concentrate on just Windows 10? Well, this is where the 70-698 fits in. If you are a new IT Pro or just need to understand the myriad of features in Windows 10, then this exam is for you. And what better way to prepare than use this book from two experts in the Windows world. Andrew and Andrew guide as through each of the exam objectives covering in detail the knowledge required and the skills to apply that knowledge. With detailed steps they guide you through how to sue the different features. I love that they also bring in PowerShell wherever possible as this is how an IT Pro can automate a Windows environment. I particularly liked the thought experiments which help you to apply your knowledge to unfamiliar situations. So if you are embarking on the next step of your career and 70-698 is on that hitlist, then definitely add this book to the top of your reading list!

An Authoritative book, thoroughly recommended
Installing and Configuring Windows 10 is an authoritative book regardless of what level of training and knowledge you're at. The authors really know their stuff and write in clear, easy to understand language. I can thoroughly recommend it.
