My son is a huge Thomas The Train fan. This is priced right and he absolutely loves the set. It’s amazing how many different sets there are. Highly recommend!

Love it my grandson still loves Thomas forever a great toy

This is an extremely cute and well made Thomas train set. My 3 year old has enjoyed it so much and it is easy for her to operate. It took about 30 mins to put it together by an adult. Thomas and his car stay on the track and it has multi directions he can take. The crane is super cute and it has no problem hauling the blocks it comes with or other little toy princesses that we already had. Cranky talks a lot and also plays music which is entertaining. I would highly recommend this train set and will most likely be buying the other compatible train sets in the future.

We found this easy to assemble, and my 3 year old son LOVES it (especially removing the track with the crane so Thomas crashes). I can't speak to durability since we just got it, but I will say that another good aspect is that it has a lot of switches and parts that my son can adjust and try out, which is great.Bad thing: when the track is placed on the outside loop with the crane it never quite aligns properly, so you have to hold it in place. Annoying in a $50 toy.One other bad thing: as has been mentioned, the mechanism that sends the train in a loop is LOUD and startled all of us, especially the 3-year-old.

Kids were so excited….. a little tricky reading directions but we got it in about an hour.

Easy to assemble. Might have to reinforce it because it’s a big hit with 2-3 year olds, but I appreciate how simple it snaps together and apart. I advise on getting some extra engine tank and aaa batteries because it only comes with 1.
