5 stars. If there were 10 I would give him 10. Solid system. I am a seasoned FX trader and another S/R strategy makes me 25% a year. However what Vladimir describes is rock solid, works in Backtesting and Forward Testing. It has a sound MM system which is key in Forex. Whether the same results can be achieved in my live accounts I don’t know as you need to be glued to the screen a lot on the 1H and more on the 5M. However it’s solid stuff that works. I bought all 4 books even though I will most likely not trade the 5M.

I have read all 4 of Vladimir's books twice now. The 2nd time around I made a booklet of notes.The books are excellent. The strategy is also excellent. It is a lot of information to take in, hence why I have read them twice. I will probably read them again too.I have started back testing the strategy of the 4th book, on the 5 minute chart of EUR/USD and so far it looks very effective!!Vladimir is clearly a very intelligent man, with a very knowledgeable grasp of the foreign exchange market, who has decided to share it in these books.What is more, I have sent emails to him with questions of the strategies etc, which to my surprise, were responded to in a very prompt and detailed manor, answering all the questions I had.Thank you very much Vladimir, for a great series of books, and for being so responsive in communication, it clearly shows your passion for the trade, and how much you care that others are as equipped as they can be to succeed in the currency exchange market.Top man. Top books.Get them!!!

This is something different from the 180+ books I've read about trading. Why so many books? Because trading is difficult and I'm obviously not one of the 2% or so that succeed. However, there's a certain logic about this methodology which is based around Fractals (No! I didn't know what they were either). It undoubtedly requires the commitment to become very familiar with the process. It's not the easiest or reads but that's because it covers the subject matter very comprehensively with lots of examples. I had a point that I needed to clarify and the author emailed a prompt explanation. Looking back on Forex charts I could identify many trading setups which prompts me to get his other books on the subject.

His technique is impressive. Few tunes I had to read some parts again, heck the pictures... it’s necessary j just to understand properly. It’s not complex like everyone says but demands much attention. I guess if you follow the rules, mainly the range of interval, you will have a profitable system in hands.Recommended

I have bought all the 3 books of Vladimir and I can now write a review.I believe this is an excellent strategy for many reasons. First it is mechanical enough that it takes away the emotional interpretation. Second it does not try to guess future direction, it just follows the direction of the price. To apply this strategy you need patience for you will need some time and practice before you fully understand it and also patience when you apply it as on the 1H chart you might have to wait few hours before getting a signal. But all this is worth it because it is an excellent strategy!

I had to return this item as I could make very little sense of the system as explained by the author.Has this book been translated using some sort of translation software?The system may be as good as the author claims but how do you find out if it is written in incomprehensible English?The author has some videos but they are all silent.

Perhaps one of the more complicated strategies for trading forex, It requires a lot of patience and study before you can get the more complicated aspects of the strategy down. Luckily Vladimir is very friendly and is usually available for advice on the more difficult to understand parts. I would say that this strategy is worth the time and effort however.

Pablo Picasso said, "The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away". To me, that's what Vladimir has done.

La mayor crítica que se puede hacer a estos libros es la barrera del lenguaje. El autor es ruso y eso se nota en la redacción. Dicho esto, ya desde la primera lectura, tuve la impresión de que estos libros, a pesar de su dificultad, tenían mucho valor escondido. De no ser así, no habría acabado leyendo cada uno de ellos tres o cuatro veces, subrayando y tomando notas. Tras estudiar concienzudamente sus libros, mi visión de ellos ha cambiado completamente. Ahora puedo ver que esta estrategia, a pesar de su complejidad, está bastante bien desarrollada por el autor y es exactamente lo que yo andaba buscando: un conjunto de instrucciones precisas y objetivas para abrir, gestionar y cerrar posiciones en el mercado forex, sin dudas, sin ambigüedades, sin la subjetividad de otras estrategias. (También es aplicable para otros activos financieros, pero eso es otra historia).Por si eso fuera poco, el autor ha tenido la amabilidad de contestar a todas y cada una de las dudas que tenía (más de tres emails cargados de ellas). Y además responde el mismo día.La estrategia se basa en la formación de corredores en los gráficos. A partir de los distintos niveles de esos corredores, se abren, se gestionan y se cierran operaciones. Esas formaciones desarrollan diferentes tipos de patrones en el gráfico, lo que puede llegar a ser un poco complicado. No voy a mentir, no creo que esta estrategia sea para el completo principiante. Sin embargo, yo soy bastante novato en el trading y creo que he conseguido un nivel de comprensión bastante decente de la estrategia. Pero ello me ha costado estudiar estos libros durante casi un mes. Son cortos, sí, pero densos. Así que supongo que si estás decidido y le echas horas, puedes llegar a dominar la estrategia.Para ser sinceros, aún no he puesto a prueba la estrategia suficientemente. El poco backtesting y trading en demo que le he hecho tiene buena pinta, eso sí.Cosas mejorables: 1) yo si fuera el autor buscaría un buen traductor y reescribiría al menos algunos pasajes del libro que no quedan del todo claros. En general se entiende bastante bien, pero la redacción es mejorable. 2) recopilaría todos los libros y los refundiría en uno solo. Un libro completo, unificado, estructurado, de unas 150-200 páginas, con toda la estrategia bien delineada. Aunque costara 40-50€ merecería mucho la pena.Muy recomendable. The author does not show why he picks one fractal over another. It seems like the examples are cherry picked. Also while there are positive reviews most of these reviewers had only reviewed this authors work when I had check. While fractals work IMO, I'd suggest Bill Williams book (the 2nd ed. one) over this book any day.

Trader Code is Open: On this book Vladimir Poltoratskiyis offering a complete system to trade the markets, witch includes how to determine the direction, the entry point, the exit point, the reverse point, the management of the position, and the amount of risk to assume.The system is original as it is based on the study of the targets instead of trends. Once the target is reached it resets itself and we are open to new opportunities.This is the first of three books so far by the author who made an effort to be very precise and clear with the instructions. I would suggest to begin with that book and then to go deeper with the other two.

This is the best trading system (for manual operations) that I could find. Most systems will do a great job on trending markets and a terrible one on ranging markets. The problem is that is very hard to know whether the market is trending or not; it is only easy when the range or the trend is over! (those who say otherwise never made a penny trading...). The rules os this system helped me a lot to overcome this problem.

I tried a lot of trading systems and spent hours and hours studying different strategies that were not able to fit any structure. This book is not an easy read. I would rather say it's hard. But once you get the idea behind and switch to a real chart - you will easily spot the patterns described. Excellent result after spending more than 2.5 weeks studying the materials.Author is also super responsive and happy to help with questions you will have during your study.

Read all 4 of Vladimir's books. There are gems of insights and wisdom in each of Vladimir's books. The investment is small compared to the overall benefit - that of having a complete trading methodology that is based on the core truth of price movement, alone.

Si vous tradez déjà et que connaissez un peu vos classiques, n'attendez rien de cet opuscule hors de prix, vide, creux et inintéressant qui ne fait que ressaser ce qu'indiquent Williams, et autres. Ses patterns sont éculés et même les débutants les connaissent. Franchement, pour dire ce qu'il a à dire, le gars ferait mieux de trader, puisqu'il fait, parait-il, 100% par mois. Ajoutez à cela des captures d'écran quasiment floues et vous avez un e-book attrape gogo de plus sur le trading. SI vous envisagez sérieusement cette activité, n'achetez pas.

Dont waste your money and time. Bad book. The author does not explain clearly the techniques and even with only a few graphs and many words.

This book presents a unique trading system. It lays the foundation to the ST Pattern trading. Great read!

Interesting discussion on an approach which was quite new to me.

An interesting technical strategy. Perhaps this is the best system in terms of making the most of the way the market movements.

I bought this book soon after it was published. I gave it a quick read and put it on my bookshelf with about 100 other trading books. It seemed too complicated for me. I scalp the Eur/Usd and simple is the name of the game in scalping. Then Vladimir's next book came out. Rinse and repeat. Then the third. Rinse and repeat. Now the latest one on 5-minute charts -- that's something a scalper can work with. Don't get me wrong; I saw value in the first book but it didn't fit my scalping style. The truth is that any method of trading will take a substantial investment of time both studying and learning its implementation. Therefore, one has to be selective in their time investment. I spent the last week re-reading all of his books. Today, I was able to implement his framework in a successful scalping trade. That success helps me commit more time to learn the entire strategy. I recommend all of his books, they are reasonably priced, Vladimir quickly answers my questions via email and shares his trading results. Where can you get that for $15.00!
