Love it!
The beauty about this book is that it gets to the point without the jargon. I simply loved it. The illustrations are amazing and there is art in every picture and every word. It is also funny and will make you laugh! The best thing about it is that you can give it as a gift when you are done with it. I promise that you will find something amazing that you can do to change the world after reading this book.

Excellent book
Excellent little book. A quick and amusing read although with a serious message. If you get loads of other people to read it as well, they'll send you a new one

Change the World - without leaving your desk.
As a big fan of "Change the World for a Fiver" I was delighted to see this new book from the same team on sale at the weekend.Picking up where the first book left off "Change the World 9-5" features fifty simple actions that if we all did together would make a big impact - practical things like shutting down the computer and unplugging mobile 'phone chargers to save energy. There are also a selection of more "personal" things like sharing lunch with a colleague, or bringing your kids to work for a day.I think this book a magnificent piece of work, the tone is perfect - light hearted, inspirational and occasionally very moving. The illustrations, design and production quality are first class and the addition of little extra bits inside the book - such as stickers and a poster make it a fun and memorable book. This is one that might turn up in a few friend's Christmas stockings come December.

A rare follow up that's as good as the original!
I read about this in the Times and badgered a friend for a pre-release copy. I am a fan of Change the World for A Fiver (the original!) and like an old music fan waited in trepidation to see if the second album could be as good as the first... but there it was - same practical and inspiring text - even more polished imagery, funny, sussed, pitched right to get under my skin and make me realise I'm not alone in wanting a better world... and that I don't have to leave those aspirations at the door when I clock in at work.If I had the money I'd but one of these for everyone at work. I'm sure we'd enjoy turning up at 9 o'clock that little bit more, and the IT desk would love us. (check out the book to see what I mean!) I guess I'd better buy one for the boss and then get him to pitch in the rest from company funds. Recommeded!

Change the world 9-5
There are some brilliant ideas in this book and every single one of them is dead easy to do. Smiling when you answer the phone, starting a car pool, shutting down your computer properly are no-brainers but I didn't realise how few of those things many people (including me) don't even think about. They are so easy to remember (mainly because they are so beautifully presented) that it's not a chore or a struggle to actually do them. I'm addicted!

Can't wait for the next one
I think all the other reviews sum the book up very well; just wanted to add my weight to it. More simple, great ideas. As an office we started doing one of the ideas every week - you soon pick up the habit.I particularly liked the one about Leaving work on time at least once a week! Can't wait for the next one.

A complimentary companion to Change the World for a £5
What a cracker. We Are What We Do have done it again. A thoughtful read about making small, do-able actions. They're so easy that I'm doing some of them myself. It rubs off too, my family and colleagues are following suit and taking on their own actions, as well as developing some new ones of their own. Great stuff - get a copy.
