I've had two of those fold up circular sun shades and they're so delicate that they always got bent and then would not sit flush against the windshield. I'm so happy I'm done with those! This new umbrella style is fantastic and the handle dislocates perfectly so you can use it to support against the back of the Tesla screen. It also latches on to the rear view mirror and can be pinched between the sun visors. I'd like how it folds up so small that I don't mind putting it in my rear foot. Well. Definitely a super simple and great product. Helps keep my tesla cool during the summer.

This does a great job keeping your car at a reasonable temperature, especially during the summer.Since I drive a car with a darker shade of paint, it really helps keep everything from becoming super hot to the touch.The function is just like an umbrella, with its respective lock and release mechanisms, fits right into the glove compartment when fully closed. Also comes in a nice velvety case.

Just like every umbrella the arms break very easily. It was great while it lasted. The arms become brittle after opening and closing a few times. I was super careful with it and it still broke. I'm bummed now. I wish I could still return it.

Very easy to put up and take down. Very noticeable difference in vehicle temp with this installed. 100% will buy for other vehicle and recommend. Do with they used stronger supports for each bracket. One broke on day 1, but no issue for me, as the car visor hold that corner in place. Overall good value and product.

I have struggled to find a sunshade that fit my honda fit windshield for a while. I tried those folding ones and they keep falling off. This one doesn’t fall off and cover my windshield completely. I also like how easy it is to store and doesn’t take up much space.Pro-tip: the instructions that come with this is in pretty bad English that it took me a hot minute to figure out how to open the sunshade. But basically you just have one hand on the ring and the other hand hold the inside and extend upward like how you would open an umbrella. You should feel a click at the end when it is fully extended

I previously had the umbrella type of sun shield and it fell apart relatively quickly. It was poorly made but it did reduce the heat inside the car (black car with black interior! What was I thinking?). I chose this as a replacement and so far it has performed just as well at reducing the heat in the car and it seems much sturdier, but time will tell. It was a little tricky to get it to stay open at first, but I'm getting the hang of it the more I use it.

I loved this car windsheild!!! it is so easy to use. I love the idea that I can open it and close it so quickly. And store it in a water proof bag. I store it behind my car seat. Because it is not real big.I bought a medium size because I have a Rav 4 car. It is perfect!I am ready to buy a large one, for my husbands truck.I recommend this to everyone.

Instructions not helpful. Difficult to get it to lock in open position. Managed to lock it in place twice, 2nd time left it open so can use it until I can get something else. It does stay in place pretty well when open and locked, large and covers the windshield blocks the sun well once locked open.
