This is, by far, the best cheddar cheese I have ever had from Amazon! This cheese is very sharp and crumbly, works awesome in grilled cheese sandwiches, melts easily and well, awesome with a slice of apple pie. Thank you Wisconsin! I thought we made great cheddar cheese here in NH! This Wisconsin cheese is just as good, and easier to find!Strongly recommend this product! This cheese is the best! When I was a kid my grandfather would come down from PA and would bring cheese just like this and we always looked forward to it. It's hard, extra sharp and wants to crumble when sliced. Not a cheese for cooking, but on a sandwich or crackers there is none better! I searched long and hard to find a cheese I loved in my youth and this is it! My grandpap is gone but this cheese brings back warm, happy memories! Buy this and you will not be disappointed.

Cheese was expensive but tastes good. I was looking for a quality cheese and feel it definitely is.

I have purchased this cheese twice now, and going back for more says a lot! If you love very sharp cheddar cheese, this 13-year-old Wisconsin cheddar is for you. It is very, very delectably sharp. It is not dry, but creamy and slightly crumbly when you slice it due to its age. There is a faint trace of mold on the outside of the block, but what would you expect after 13 years? Cheese and mold are good friends. For example, if you love bleu cheese, what do you think you're eating? It's practically all mold! This aged Wisconsin cheddar is for the true cheese connoisseur and I will definitely be purchasing it a third time if it is still available when I'm ready. And by the way, it comes lovingly packaged in a thickly lined box with cold packs all around it and marked boldly as "Perishable".
