Beautiful and Real
This story! Oh my goodness this story! I have read other books by this author and loved them, but I will admit the beginning of this story made me a little nervous that I wouldn’t love this one. I was absolutely wrong to worry. The characters are always so so real and a bit messy. Both Sonny and Hudson are messy, and yet so real. You can’t help but absolutely love them as you read the story. The characters, character development, and the storyline were perfection. If the description sounded even kind of interesting, I can’t imagine you not enjoying this story. Then add the gorgeous setting to the story 😍. My only criticism was that Sonny was a Chevy girl and not a Ford girl. 😉Seriously though this story was a wonderful prodigal story. It tugged at the heart strings in a way that made me tear up, made me angry at some characters enough to lecture the book, and made me laugh, giggle, and snort at the hilarity that happened at times.I now need to check if I have any other T.I. Lowe stories I haven’t read yet. If I don’t I think I’ll have to reread one. 😏

Amazing, Original, Romantic!!
I'm trying to coherently make my thoughts and feelings about this book convey the awesomeness of the story. This author has been a favorite of mine ever since I read Lulu's Cafe many years ago. She continues to astound me with her storytelling. This book engaged me from the first page until I read the very last one. Indigo Isle is an original story with grittiness, southern humor, inspiration, romance, and fun and loving characters. Well, mostly. The antagonist made me mad, but isn't that what they are supposed to do? Let me just say that I loved Hudson. He had me when he said he didn't own a TV! I fell in love then and there. He was a book reading hermit. Sonny was a sassy gal who I really wanted to be friends with. She was the prodigal daughter trying to get home. If I had to describe Indigo Isle, it would be a mash up of Beauty, and the Beast meets the Prodigal Son (daughter). I loved it. Please do yourself a favor and read this book! The ending was amazing with the happily ever after in which I love!

Love the Story
Well written and a lot of fun. Was sad when I was nearing the end. I became very attached to the main characters. Love it so much, and I haven't said that for a while about any book. I definitely will be buying more books by this author.

Beautiful book…
Hard topics….Family healing and repentance along with addressing wrongdoing. I would have liked to see a little more mention of the healing from the abuse that Sonny took addressed more than just leaving it behind, but overall, excellent.

My favorite author!
Indigo Isle is just one of so many beautifully written books by T.I. Lowe. She is a fabulous author! As soon as I read this on kindle I knew I had to buy the physical copy because it is that good. This is a great read with no filth whatsoever, so if you’re looking for that this is not the author for you!

A must-read!
I absolutely loved this story! Talk about a brooding hero. LOL I think Hudson Renfrow may be the grumpiest hero I've ever read, but somehow I still fell in love with him. I also enjoyed the female protagonists and her quirky movie-making friends. And I can't leave out the motel owner, Erlene, who added a welcome spiritual aspect to the heroine's journey and some comical relief as well.I was captivated on page one and the story never let me go. The combination of a prodigal and the Beauty and the Beast-type romance was a winning combo. The author addressed deep issues related to sexual abuse, death of a child, guilt, broken family relationships, forgiveness, and more, all with grace.Kudos to T.I. Lowe for a stellar read!

Another Sweet Read from TI LOWE!
"I want to be your first boyfriend and more than that, I want to be your last."When I read that line, I legit had to set the book down, stare at the wall, and grin like a fool! BEST. QUOTE. EVER.Listen, I've read every single book by T.I. Lowe and she truly never disappoints. And even though I enjoyed her last release, Under the Magnolias, the romance really took a backseat to the main story, making it more of a women's fiction. I was ECSTATIC to find that T.I. went back to her romance roots in Indigo Isle! This book...Honestly, it started a little slower than some of her others for me, but I was engrossed by chapter 3. As usual, the author takes us on a journey of past demons, inner struggles, and current predicaments while weaving a fun enemies-to-lovers/grumpy- sunshine love story into the mix.Sonny had so many issues she needed to tackle, but I empathized so much with her situation because SO many women face the same type of thing...even men, honestly. I was happy to see Sonny become her own hero WHILE getting right with God.I teared up at the moment she received the love she desperately sought from a certain person in her past. And don't even get me started on Hudson! 😍😭😭😭The way he showed up for her at the end was the perfect HEA. And T.I. Lowe's epilogues are always SOOOOO satisfying. This one did not disappoint!Thank you to the author for writing another outstanding romance from a faith perspective! So glad I purchased the paperback!💙
