Denver IR-110 Internet Digital Black - radios (3.5 mm, Internet, LCD, Digital, FM, DC)

I am very pleased with this product; it is a nice design, and the wooden case makes for a good sound. I use it for bedside listening to speech broadcasts and the reproduction is excellent (I have no idea about music quality). The controls are simple and straightforward; oddly enough there is an illuminated panel that has no "off" switch, but I can easily obscure it. We have no FM or DAB service and our BT Broadband is truly appalling; it completely fails every hour or two, which is a pest, but when the Broadband is working the radio is a great pleasure. The radio works well if there is even very poor Broadband (but obviously it cannot work when there is no signal). The volume control is a simple knob, and gives precise results. This is an excellent product and exactly meets my personal requirements.

Start up instructions not very clear to follow. Not enough information. Had to download instruction manual online to fully understand how to set it up including how to store radio stations in the presets.Now I've got it working I'm very pleased with it. The sound quality is quite adequate for me, I'm not looking for surround sound super quality sound, just something to listen to in the kitchen.Very happy as I can now listen to the radio downstairs using the internet radio feature. FM and DAB reception were very poor with my old radio, previously I could only get reception upstairs. In fact the DAB reception isn't too bad on this but the internet quality is better for where I live.I also bought this model for the USB playback feature so I could listen to music in the kitchen without having to store a pile of CDs nearby. I don't do streaming or store music on my phone so didn't need a model with Bluetooth, haven't used the shared music feature or used the Aux in port to plug my phone in.Haven't used the alarm but intend buying another unit to replace my clock radio alarm in my bedroom. I like that the display doesn't light up when the unit is turned off as the LED light on my present clock radio is so bright I have to cover it at night as it lights up the whole room. I also like that if I was to use the sleep function the screen is dimmable so I can turn the brightness down if trying to drift off to sleep. Look forward to saving enough money to buy another set.My only problem was that despite being a Prime member and choosing a delivery date a day later than their earliest delivery option it arrived a day late by Royal Mail 24hr service as it had only been posted on the day I was supposed to receive it. Amazon's tracking still indicated that it was due for delivery, Royal Mail's tracking didn't give me any information, so I stayed in all day for nothing.

Just purchased the internet radio for my Wife. Very easy to set up,no problems at all, it is actually being used in a garden summer house, with wi-fi!! For such a small radio, the sound quality is excellent, no distortion at all, we have connected extension speakers to it. Our hi-fi- system is connected to the internet, so my Wife was asking if you could get smaller systems, so I found this on Amazon, and a good price. So far no cons with the radio,all pros. I would well recommend this radio.

Sound quality was horrible - notable distortion at all levels and no bass at all to the sound. Even a tiny bluetooth speaker had more bass and sounded better. Maybe there was something wrong with my unit. The remote control is also poor and the menu system is badly designed and tedious to navigate. If you search by category you don't want to have to go through countries as well. There seems to be almost as many folders as stations.In addition, the display can't be turned off while the radio is playing which is really annoying if you want to listen to music in bed.

Bought this because my favorite DAB radio station moved and I could no longer get it. Had to listen to rubbish radio so decided to get an internet radio for the bedroom. This was set up and running in about 10 minutes. Perfect.Update - the display on the radio is dark when the radio is turned off. This made it unsuitable for me in the bedroom as I like to see the time when I wake in the night. I switched it for the internet radio - a different make - that I had in the kitchen so it worked out well for me.

WOW !!!! What a fantastic internet radio. There's loads of information online about how to get the best out of it. I did not need the info but it's there if you need it. Very good quality well made and easy to operate. I love it. Fast delivery. Thank you.

Great radio, just what I was looking for. Hard work storing stations, I’ve managed it but still don’t know how, could have done with more set up instructions.
